my account got hacked right before the new year 2008 and i lost 3 years worth of mats, packrat crap, and epix.

the gms reimbursed mah epix but didnt give a shit about my heaping pile of mats, packrat sentimentals, etc. They gave me roughly 400g as 'compensation'. Bullshit. the mats were worth far more than that on my server.

and that brought me over to PSU! yay for PSU! also...

WoW segment at the Video Game Live concert tonight was one of the best pieces, very epic. Also, during the introduction, some people started shouting "FOR THE HORDE!" and then shortly after "FOR THE ALLIANCE!" Then the anouncer is like "HORDES!" horde people shout alliance people boo a little. "ALLIANCE" alliance chearing is overwlemed by horde booing. I've never played, but you can probably guess that I supported the horde side.

I'm trying to rush through and get to end game ASAP, my bud is 66 right now as a Paladin, and I've gotten to 43 on my Warrior in a little over a week.

We want to start raiding, because we both have nothing better to do when we arent working on shit for classes, haha.

I'm remembering what I hate about this game, though. If a guy tries to gank me and fails enough times, he'll eventually get pissed off and get his 70/a friend's level 70 to cover for his own inadequecies. I don't mind dying to people around my level, but it's damn irritating when people have to jump on their high levels all the time.

It really depends on what level you are, and where you are at the moment.

If you're in Outland somewhere, it's pretty easy to make gold. However, racking up the 5000 for the epic flying mount is still annoying because of the sheer amount you have to get. (Only 500 away...gah!)

Not always. That can vary depending on which mount you choose. If you happen to be Exalted with the Sha'tari Skyguard (Why wouldn't you be if you have 5000 gold?), you can get the Nether Ray mount for 160 gold instead of the gryphon for 200.

Edit: Actually, Teldrassil is only the highest survivable fall in Azeroth. I'm sure you could fly higher in Outland and just fall into a lake.
