I would love some Magashi Cast parts. I think its shame that we don't have them. My Cast would get them so fast. Who is with me ?

We'll more than likely get it eventually.

It reminds me of This Mag,

Kinda?

Yes it does remind me of that mag. But we'll never get anything that ornate. Not something that looks like Magashi's get-up. Look at everything to date, have we EVER recieved any kind of clothes or parts that looked like a Main story character NPC? With the exception of the brave suit (which lacks a hoodie) there are no decent look alike. I dont think we'll get it at all. Besides, who wants to see a bunch of magashi's walking around.

You can easily get the Magashi parts. What scares me, though, is that they're all caseal parts...

I have since, decided to not keep up with what Japan gets. It makes me so depressed that I have to wait for it.. and it usually takes awhile before we get stuff. But I dont think so...any of the MAIN npc clothes. Leo, Laia, Tonnio, Magashi. Anything of NPC character of that magnitude, I dont think we'll get. Ive heard of people hacking the game script and presenting the outfits in multiple colors. The games are scripted with all that shit in them, so you can view it. Thats all.

Who told you that? lol. We won't ever main character NPC clothes.

Although...it's possible we might get the magashi cape in the form of a shadoog.

I wish there were more cast parts that didn't look like ridiculous clown suites!

All I really want is for my cast to look like the RAmar from PSO. I got so excited when I found out that PSO classic outfits were coming soon. Of course, I have a strong feeling that even though the male cast from PSU is exactly like the RAmar (stat wise), the PSU cast’s will never see this uniform in G’.

Magashi's would be a nice addition. We need less clown feet leg parts!!!

RAmars were Human Males. What makes you think Cast Males will be able to wear their outfit?

I'd say Cast-only S rank Madoog or S rank SUV of some sort, if it appears at all.

Or how about a shadoog that looks like Apsaras from PSO?

I really doubt a large single wing styled Mag would be a Shadoog just because Shadoogs fire from the left shoulder. It would look awkward if it wasn't a double Mag or left shoulder Mag.

I'd be a nice surprise, at least. It'd definately help build the look I'm going for with Levia, at least. I have no idea how it'd be implemented though, since, while mags were simply decorations, mag weapons are weapons and can't serve the same perpouse.
Maybe, aura garments? New clothing slot?

^What are you talking about? No they were not, they were also weapons (PB energy and PB's, invincibility, BOOFS!!, Healing) and helped your stats tremendously. They held a big role in PSO.

But the point is, they didn't have to actually ATTACK. Which that never did. PB doesn't really count either, since it didn't use an animation for the mag other than the mag spinning are flapping or whatever.

What would stop these NPC parts from being Rare Drops? Or like the Shrine Maiden or Casino wear, where they are non-store bought but obtain through special means? =(

I want the old PSO Bank Girl's wear for my Beast =D

Only if it positions itself above your head during combat and shoots a bullet from each of its wing tips

Actually I was thinking it might be an Extra Slot unit. Given the fact Magashi is a Cast I doubt that piece was worn strictly for cosmetic purposes. It probably had a function that was never utilized in the game.

I saw a vid of a shadoog that that floated midway above the characters head. It reminded me of a shrunk down laser SUV. Nothing says a shadoog HAS to float over the left side just because it is a left hand equip. It's an independent little robot after all.

It's probably a defensive unit, used to block attacks from all sides(front by closing up). Or it could be used to store weaponry and other tools, although that would be pretty useless, considering photon technology.

Hell, you never know... it could be...

My thoughts would be some kind of dual mode unit. Open boosting offensive capacity and maneuverability, closed granting a boost to defensive capacity.

Fafnir
Jan 23, 2008, 12:13 AM
I doubt it. Considering that as far as we know, there are no weapons equipped to the unit(and even then, that's what SUVs are for), and as for maneuvering ability, we don't even know if it's actually attached to him in some way(could be a mysterious invisible power... or they could just be hovering around him).

BloodDragoon
Jan 23, 2008, 12:19 AM
Doesnt have to have weapons attached to it. The open mode could simply draw in latent energy around him and apply it to his actual body boosting it's strength and agility.

Fafnir
Jan 23, 2008, 12:24 AM
That sounds pretty cool. Magashi could be the next mascot for energizer batteries. Cause seriously, that guy never dies.

Im pretty sure its some kind of slot unit because magashi doesnt always have it equipped.

Agastya unit maybe?
