I second that :E

That quote... Voyager? From yet another one of those "the morale of the story kidddie" episodes? The one where they take an away team on a planet and think they're someone else because of some stone from some ancient civilization that sends off psychotronic hallucinogenic bionic chronic that makes them believe they were in some kind of extraterrestrial form of Viet Nam? The one Enterprise kinda ripped off when they had Hoshi act worse than usual, even as a mutant (how do you fail that...)? Does my butt look big in these pants?

The human are not to blame! It was the scientists. Yes, them, but then, they are human as well. *Sigh*
Human always cause trouble to other. Human shouldnt exist in the first place. Let's just end civilization now!

Heaven has had millions of years worth of people. A bit crowded, and there's got to be a lack of chairs.

shin related but not topic related:

I went to borders today, was thinking "Somebody told me something was here that I wanted, wtf was it..." Then I just happened to see it on the shelves. Artemis Fowl graphic novel. "Oh yeah! Shin was going on about this." Bought it, now the Artemis collection is complete again.

Told you.

Now, DO NOT DESTROY THE STONE!

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 08:05 PM
*poking the stone with a ridiculously huge buster sword* it wouldn't have been put on this earth if it wasn't meant to be destroyed...

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 08:06 PM
Toth got to you.

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 08:12 PM
it says human don't destroy the stone... so what happens when a non human destroys it? (and who is toth?)

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 08:15 PM
If the greater good force destroys it maybe nothing but those with mignificent souls, stuff happens.
Toth says it will bring others to ruin.

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 08:25 PM
it seems like a lot of things work that...
the light houses of Golden Sun...
the Fire Emblem...
the triforce to an extent...
neithicite...

AlexCraig
Jan 25, 2008, 08:29 PM
Heh, Tal took all my examples.

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 08:32 PM
The stone bring mainly ruin.

AlexCraig
Jan 25, 2008, 08:34 PM
Then would it not be best to toss it deep into a black hole or something to get rid of it?

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 08:35 PM
Fire emblem
>if war engulfs the entire land plunging it into chaos, the dark goddess shall awaken and the world shall be destroyed
>if the fire emblem is awakened by the song of release the goddesses will pass judgment on the land...

The stone
>if destroyed by anyone, civilization meets ruin...
>if those of pure heart destroy the stone evil will be destroyed...

seems incredibly similar to me...

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 08:39 PM
The stone breeds chaos.

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 08:41 PM
the fire emblem is chaos solidified...

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 08:44 PM
Destroying the stone is worse than leaving it alone. It has mainly negative effects because it was forged by a seer's work to contain chaos.

AlexCraig
Jan 25, 2008, 08:44 PM
Dear gods! Talon is breaking down Shin's impassible/impossible logic! *gasp*

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 08:47 PM
the dark goddess is actually the goddess of chaos 'yune' in any case awakening yune can't be healthy even if you release her with the song of release...

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 08:49 PM
Similar but the stone is in an eviorment where it can be nullified but some of those ways would be worse than the stone/

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 08:53 PM
the laguz heron tribe is the only ones who can nullify the effects of the fire emblem... but the where mostly killed off in a genocide... there is little left that can suppress the emblem... also touching the emblem is a major nono (unless your innocent)

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 08:57 PM
The forces that make the stone moot are quite numerous and in most cases immortal but are nihilism incarnate.
Pure or not the stone fucks you up.

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 09:10 PM
the emblem grows more twisted with each life the war claims, the count gets high enough and it won't matter who you are, pure or not your toast... chaos is neutrality... order binds chaos into life, without order ya got nothing

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 09:13 PM
More with the stone is chaos order and nihilism.
It is needed for the balance which is very shakey

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 09:15 PM
the Fire Emblem is chaos, Yune sleeps within
The tower of guidance is order Ashera sleeps within
balance is shaky all it takes is a continent wide war to tip the scales and unlease ruin! don't release the emblem!

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 09:19 PM
Chaos is awake and thrists for souls. Death seeks all even chaos.

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 09:22 PM
if the emblem is awakened for war there will only be death...

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 09:32 PM
Khealis' Ra and the Deceiver. :E

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 09:34 PM
err... care to explain? i'm not familiar with them...

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 09:37 PM
Things behind chaos. Nihilisms masters.
Those who deal with the stone are those who stand against them.
Thus the council of a seer and a father.

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 09:41 PM
*shaking head* they seem incredibly similar to me...

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 09:42 PM
Well Kahelis Ra is in your mind because the Grim Reaper is in his image.

TalHex
Jan 25, 2008, 09:46 PM
really? never seen him before so i woudn't know...

ShinMaruku
Jan 25, 2008, 09:48 PM
Well the Grim Reaper is a result of him putting fear of death in the bright souled races, thus spawning survivalist emotions giving rise to chaos and as a result he's behind the stone.

you know, that sounds incredibly redundant, considering the fact PLUNGING THE LAND INTO CHAOS would probably destory it before the goddess gets a chance

anywhoo... *brings 50 ton hammer down on stone*

C4 cannot harm the warp

TalHex
Jan 26, 2008, 06:35 PM
tal's inventory of weapons:
-C4 subspace bomb
-infinite cube drop portal gun
-disapprove curry launch
-FKL FOX
-generic buster sword
-chaotic wave burst bomb
-blue kit partisan
-war banner

can any of these harm the warp?

ShinMaruku
Jan 26, 2008, 06:45 PM
Warp is not part of the physical realm.

TalHex
Jan 26, 2008, 06:46 PM
neither is FKL FOX or brit's bag but that's beside the point
