View Full Version : PSU-XBox 360: I feel responsible now

Testament Newman M fortetecher, ID # is like 73000+. Well he was calling somebody and me hackers for being on the stairs on the 4th floor, so I jokingly told him he had to turn his 360 from flat to tower to get up there. Now, this is where any 360 owner should laugh, "haha so you can scratch my disc, yeah right," except I think this person actually did it because he disappeared (and no more spam). I feel responsible now, so if anybody's his friend, I'm reeaaally sorry and I'll give him something to try and make up for his loss of a game disc.

My advice is to not ever joke about this as the 360 is pretty much crap hardware and they still haven't put in a cushion in the disc drive to keep the disc from hitting the inside when moved. Some of these people are kids and believe these ridiculous things we may take for granted. Now I am officially an ass.

yea must suck http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif i hate it when u joke with them, but they want to do something so badly they take your word for it and try it, so u feel bad for them http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

also i scratched my disc trying to fixz the back of my XBOX right before the maintenance was gonna start for the event.

I left the system on like a dummy, and it scratched my disc an hour before it went down for the even http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif SO i cant play most of the event lol

If they're dumb enough to fall for it, it's their own fault. Don't feel bad. Think of it like natural selection. Don't reward stupidity. Chances are anyhow that nothing happened and you're just getting played.

Unless he happened to be a kid, which he certainly acted like. Now he has no PSU to play for the weekend which he was probably hoping really badly for. If somebody did it to me, I'd be pretty bummed out. I suppose the only thing I could do is track him down in the future and apologize.

I'd wash my hands of it personally, People need to be held accountable for their own lack of common sense or intelligence. Reminds me of Diablo II B.net. I told people in one of the main channels if they hit atl+f4 it would enable hacks on closed b.net. the channel dropped from 30 some odd ppl to 4 in seconds.

Or just remember next time you want to say something and think no one is stupid enough to do it that odd are the person you say it to will be the one to prove you wrong.

So what if he's a kid? Lesson learned. And as I said, chances are that you're just getting played, and if you open your heart and try to apologize - you're going to get laughed at and mocked.

He's probably a Chocolate Milk (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7153152098207965240) drinker anyhow.

It's the same thing as telling someone in PC version to minimize.

What's teh big deal? He should have other games, he'll be fine.

ROFL, there's a possibility I may know this person, in fact they live right up the street from me. The person I know used the same name in PSO. The name, class and race just seems to make it come together....I don't think he'd be dumb enough to do what you mentioned though.

I saw his little hacker outburst in 4th floor, I wouldn't pay too much heed to it. Since spammers come and go like seasonal rains, I seriously doubt He(She/it) did anything of that sort. (/my2cents)

I'm sure it's just a coincidence... besides, once my xbox was up (like a tower) and my cat clotheslined himself on the internet cable, and pulled it over while I was playing. the xbox fell over but the game didn't scratch. I think it wouldn't have even d/ced if it weren't for the impact of it hitting the table. I freaked out, but it was ok.

Anyway, if he did scratch the disk and can't play, and he is just a kid, I doubt he'll be getting another game, so it's not like you could get him something anyway unless you mean a RL something http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
