i dunno if you tried it already, but there's this painfully korean game called rappelz.

It's uh... engaging at first but then you realize you are dealing with one of the most hellish grinds you can imagine. And I'm a WoW veteran so I am fully qualified to say that.

It's got a moderately terrible playerbase, endless msg spam from players and gold sellers, and a pretty crappy dungeon system paired with poorly developed character growth planning.

Other than that, graphics are decent for a free mmo, combat mechanics are somewhat fun, and ... well you pay for what you get is a rule of thumb for everything these days.
