Uhh, I didn't take any pics. I was chikki-ing his tail when he was down low and in front of the boat. And that fin thing at the end of his tail, just like, exploded. o.o I can't provide pics and video later if you absolutely require them, though.

It removes the halfguard and decreases the defense slightly, just like all the other parts of his body (besides the head, which just decreases the defense).

Does it regenerate like the other body parts? And them seem to regenerate randomly... Or is there a specific time that they regenerate?

I've never seen the head or tail regenerate, so I'd assume they don't. But I rarely see him regenerate at all, so I can't say for sure.

I noticed that half the time his body parts on his side regenerate before he comes into melee range again.... Hum. It pretty much doesn't matter, but maybe I should test it sometime. =/

If I remember right, he regains his parts when he is up in the air right before he goes under the water.

Uhm.... I was using chikki, which was hitting for like 1.3k a shot, so I'd say ohhh..... 20k damage? I haven't tested it. Took a while to cut off. >_>;

It usually dies before you get to destroy the tail, but if it points its anus at you a lot you can destroy it. But like Makenshi said, no additional rewards for it like in MH. Not sure I'd want extra rewards for destroying THAT part anyway. Ewww.

I've noticed that when you destroy the head carapace De Rol Le can no longer do that massive trilobyte pukey drop he does when he goes under water and smacks your boat. Would destroying the tail prevent that attack as well, or does it prevent some other attack I haven't noticed?

I have shot his tail off too. I figured it would stop him from shooting those things out its ass but I am pretty sure it didn't. Also I never realized that his other parts regenerated, I just assumed that once you destroyed them that was it.
