Well the same guy behind that made a new game for the Wii called No More Heroes. (http://youtube.com/watch?v=tkXIG1MixLw) Seems like he did away with the whole movement on rails gameplay and introduced a free range movement concept, even if it is somewhat limited.

By far it is the most violent game on the Wii but judging Suda57 by his last game I would say I'm not surprised.

I dig the premise. You're some dude who watched tons of anime and Mexican pro wrestling and got some beam sword (from Ebay I betcha) and wants to be an assassin.

I tried playing the game but I couldn't. You can't skip the weird ass dialouge, the battle system is balls, and its just confusing as hell.

That's the beauty of it. You aren't suppose to understand the game on your first playthrough and you only understand it after talking to other people about it. It's not really a game to play (I know it's a self-defeating purpose but let's not get into that) but it's a game to be anlayzed. It's like a watching an art film, you know it's not a film you would normally watch for fun or anything but just watching it makes you feel...more intellectual. Also you're watching said film because the hawt girl on your arm said she loves art films and you're trying to get laid. Only in Killer7's case the hawt wears glasses and read manga...still bangable either way.

Wait a minute, okay forget the prevent part of my post. What I'm saying is that it's not game with reply value, that I can admit to. However if you're willing to just look at it in an abstract view point then it's certainly worth a playthrough. (Now I'm not saying it's the BEST. GAME. EVAR! cuz it's not, there are other games that have better storyline and manage to be enjoyable[*cough*Vagrant Story*cough*]. but it's not a terrible game from a storyteller's point of view either, it just takes a while and an open mind to understand it.)

Shadow of the Colossus manages to have an engaging storyline that is best understood and appreciated when analyzed within a group AND its fun.

But I'll pop it in the 'ol PS2 one more time, for you.

never played it (Killer7,) friend did though, he said he liked it. For the most part of what I hear, it seems people just love it or hate it.
