Path of Radiance is 9, Radiant Dawn 10. Haven't beaten Dawn yet, but I'm pretty sure the final boss can't take a few hundred damage.

Honestly, the difficulty of Radiant Dawn in the first part is absurd. Half your characters suck, the rest are either underleveled or so vastly overleveled they're xp sinks... (Playing on Normal, btw)
