Which is stronger, 32% 10/10 or 50% 5/5? Help me out here # crunchers! >8D

- Im guessing the 50% will do dramatically more against ice monsters.

- & The 10/10 does more to other elements besides fire?

A 42% proper element with 200 less ATP than the 10/10 one will do more damage.

In general, whenever a number get really big, increasing it by percentage is always better. However, if the numbers are small, usually the add/subtract matters more.

Edit: Meh, my headache made me missed it.

5/5 has roughly 700 atp +50% bonus = 1050atp against ice creatures

10/10 has roughly 800 atp+32% bonus(32x8= 256) =1056 against ice creatures

Personally i think the 10/10 is a better weapon because it allows for a good weapon against many elements

not to mention the 10/10 one would have more PP.

Element bonus still applies to your ATP too. Common logic is that ele's got nerfed so that 10% is still 10% and 50% is only about 38% really. I don't think that's really how it works, but let's do it for argument's sake.

5/5 has roughly 1900 ATP +50% (nerfed to 38%) bonus = 2622
10/10 has roughly 2100 ATP +32% (nerfed to 26%) bonus = 2646

so either way the 10/10 wins

Element nerf:

Before-

Elemental mod applied to total ATP (after weapon ATP + base ATP + unit + buff + PA mod)

Now-

Elemental mod applies to weapon ATP
