PS2/PC players: how are the new drop rates for the original

Do the boss box rares in the original missions now drop as often as the S ranks in the AoI missions? How common are the Shigga Baret, Needle Cannon, Rattlesnake and Gur Asted on the PS2/PC servers now?

I lost interest in this game a few weeks back but I'm pondering a return as soon as the 360 servers get the update.

But the boss box rares drop about as much as AoI's boss dox rares, at least from what I've seen.

To give you an idea:

I've been playing since Day Two rather consistently. Before this patch, I have seen one drop from boss boxes (Cati/Hit from Duel in the Ruins S2)

Since Friday I have gotten : Ank Zagza (Dulk Fakis), Needle Cannon (Adahna), Hirokteri (Bots in Grove), Rikauteri (Adahna), and another Needle Cannon (Adahna)

Well i have gathered from Sleeping Warriors S2 yesterday.

2 Meteor Cannons
2 Huge Cutter
2 Svaltus Sword
1 Storm Line

In the amount of 15 runs..so i say..drop rates are awesome.
Shame i didn´t get what i really wanted from there (Psycko Wand) but that is still really good IMO. =D

Rare drops usually hate me but I played one run of Plains Overlord and got a Cati / Power, then one run of Desert Terror and found a [B] Shigga Desta. Boss boxes and enemy drops both got a noticeable drop increase. I've found three Hirokteri boards (2 failed, 1 synthed) from robos in GoF S2. And nothing but 9* boards (of various kinds) from Adahna.. Where's my Rikauteri.. ;-;

So yeah, the drop rates are like AoI's now. The few lucky people who are always lucky get stuff (with a few exceptions). While anyone who is usually unlucky is still unlucky.

Since update, I've gotten TWO [B] Storm Line, [B] Meteor Cannon, [B] Vahra Claw, [B] Mizurakihoh, Stun / Resist, and Solid / Knight.

I don't care if some of those are AoI drops. I feel like I'm on top of the world.

Heres another question. Are the enemy materials dropping more like the Bil De Vear Horns, relic edges, Gaozoran Rod pieces ect?. If thats the case people can finally stop being greedy with over pricing rare synth materials.

i can't confirm for most enemy parts, but vahra nails drop alot more. (so does vahra claw board)

I sure as hell am glad they fixed the drop rates for PSU V1 missoins. I was doing True Dulkness and found me my 2nd Blackheart [b], which came out 26% Light. I also saw a [b] Cubo -whatever is the 11* Crossbow.

The drop rates are much better, but yeah, you'll still get runs that don't net you anything at all, even from bosses. With that said, five runs of Grove of Fanatics S2 got me:

Tons of Neu Ebon and Ydral
[b] Ulteri
[b] Howrod
[b] Hirokteri
Hanmateric

So, yay. I'd been running this mission a lot trying to get S-rank Longbows, and I got squat. So, having a few runs turn up some decent boards is a welcome change.

In my experience, yes, those got bumped as well. I had one sws2 run with 2 relic edge drops in the same run. While I was doing it, my friend mailed me that he also found a bil de horn in his first solo run...so I would think these enemy mats got a boost.

In a word, the new boss drops are INCREDIBLE. Our team has been running marathon sessions of goliath, terror and temple...and I think overall we've found (as a group):

2x[b] shigga baret
1x[b] gur asted
2x[b] rattlesnake - 1 dropped for me, successful synth.
1x[b] gudda hon - dropped on a friend-gave it to me, 24% fire synth
1x[b] rikauteri - dropped on me, successful synth
2xOrpad Guard - dropped on a friend, 1 given to me

Averaging about 8-10 mins a run depeding on slackage, I'd say we hit a pretty good list of stuff just over the weekend. I got really everything and more I was looking for...this update really made up for the lackluster event. I plan to continue doing runs with my friends so we can get everything we've been wanting from the old missions.
