Morning everyone and welcome to yet again another week of work/school/both and yet again to wanting for friday to be right around the corner again http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Yea question time!

Im currently on the 360 of awesome ness and have been playing the winter event all night (yep pulled yet another sunday monday alnighter on psu) and got my new little newman buddy fayt up to lvl 60 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Ive offically decided that i LOVE lighting attacks and will continue to lvl them up as i see fit http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif well anyways upon playing last night i seen my first encounter of noszonde and my heart instantly fell inlove at first sight (nerdy yes?) well upon asking this little twurp(sp) about this move he said it was only 50 pa fags and on my lvl 76 cast i so happen to have that many http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif yea!

well to get to the point (about time) my buddy also informed me of nosdiga and how it hits mult. enemys at a higher lvl (witch also had my attention) and was stronger

My question is witch spell to pick?!?!?

My awesome school computers blocked youtube so i cant see what the moves look like and im sure everyone else out there knows quite a few more details then i will ever gather in my life time so i yet again turn to my faitful friends of pso-world.com to help me out yet again

<3 your buddys,

Chaos320, and his chars, Fayt, Stinkoman 2XD6, and Sonic

Bleh to Mondays, indeed. It's too damn early, I was up way too late on an adrenaline high from the Super Bowl, and it's rainy. But enough monday whining.

The choice depends on your playstyle. If you're going for style and intend on being primarily a "lightning mage" then go with Noszonde. It's pretty useful--it can cause knockdown and can hit flying targets. However, if you're more into playing the numbers game, go Nosdiga. It causes a lot of damage and can even home in on target, useful for human enemies especially. Plus it's Earth, which is a more useful element overall.

For looks/lightning fandom/ability to hit flying enemies, Noszonde.
For numbers/more useful element, Nosdiga.

If you get NosZonde, be sure to level it up ASAP. During the levels 1 through 10, NosZonde looks pretty pathetic. One of my friends bought NosZonde as his first ultimate PA, and has yet to level it up to level 11. To this day, we simply refer to it as the "Tickle Orb," due to the fact that it looks about as harmless as the feathers on a Rappy Mode. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Nosdiga is an excellent damage dealer and it causes Stun, probably the best SE in the game. It also works well on almost every type of enemy (except maybe flying enemies http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif), making it useful to have no matter what mission you're playing. It's a pain to level at first but it gets really good later on.

While I definitely agree with you and your love for the Lightning techs, as they are my favorite as well, I would however... have to say that Nosdiga is far more useful.

I find myself using it to keep enemies away and stun them, so I can get my frail Newman body away from sharp claws. It was a godsend back when Vahras would tear me to bits. Noszonde is definitely cool at higher levels, but for the time being, as you are still leveling up... go with Nosdiga for now, and get Noszonde after that.

Noszonde might be the sweetest looking tech in the game.

No love for Nosmegid at all? It can cause knockdown, and it can also chase down flying enemies. It's damage is also higher than Nosdiga in the end, and has HP charge (less HP = more damage).

Go with Nosdiga - more damaging and better overall usefulness. Nosdiga is faster and doesn't leave you vulnerable like Noszonde. Both attack closest enemy, but in the case of single enemies, Nosdiga can hit up to 3 times. Noszonde will hit up to 3 different enemies as long as they are tightly packed, but each individual enemy once (i.e. relatively useless on bosses).
But if you're going for the whole lightning thing, all that goes out the window. As far as lightning goes, I prefer lvl 31+ Razonde. Still working on getting Noszonde to 31...

I've been a big fan of the earth spells for a while now (Diga and Radiga are 40, Gidiga and Nosdiga are both +21.) So I'm a bit bias in saying go for Nosdiga....plus the PP usage of Noszonde is HUGE.

If you've leveled up all your other lightning spells though, stick with noszonde for the whole lightning mage look.

I'd say if you are playing FT, get both - but get Noszonde first as it will take more levelling than Nosdiga, which will level with very little effort.

Noszonde certainly has its uses - it's essentially a homing Ra-tech but it is very expensive. Gains knockdown at lv21 which is its biggest selling point.
