get the expansion

it fixed a lot of stuff psu had lacking, in my opinion.

So I quit playing PSU about 4-6 months ago due to school and Halo 3 coming out, lol....Anyways, I miss it SO much I've decided today that I want to start playing again.

I'm assuming that a lot has changed since I've been gone, especially now since the expansion is out. Any pointers for a returning, pre-expansion player? Has the atmosphere changed in a good/bad way? Any really new stuff that I need to know about before I start up again? Is it easier/harder to level up?

I'm on 360, BTW...

It's much easier to level up considering they rebalanced the EXP right before the expansion was released, and on the PC/PS2 (soon on the 360 as soon as the Title update comes out) the drop rates on all missions have been boosted, making things a lot easier to find. There are a few new wepon types out, you can look them up in the database, and the Class cap has been raised to 15, but other than that nothing much has changed. But on the 360 there have been a large number of bans from people exploiting a glitch that created many duped Grinder S +10's, and we are a week behind PC/PS2 in updates due to some complications with the latest Title Update.

Leveling is a whole lot easier due to the increased xp from monsters. The drop rates in all the missions got boosted including the V1 ones so things aren't impossible to find anymore.

It was raised to 120 when the winter event came out and is still sitting at 120. PA skills cap at 40 for the classes that can go that high.
