Hey, I've never completed a challenge yet. But wondering what kind of prizes you get for doing so. Is it worth playing, or should I just keep playing the story and find items there instead?[small]

Hey!!! If you Check out the rare weapons list. I Believe the weapons you can get are called "S-rank".
One thing about them is that you must complete challenge mode with a rank of "S".

Complete all 9 stages in 7 hours or less and you get an s rank prize. You get to choose one of 15, and you get to name it.

I was wondering if that is really hard to do in 7 hours? I haven't gotten a chance to try it yet.

It's easy as hell preppy, I've done it in V2 wit JP players in like around 5 hours, I've seen people with like 4 and a half hour times too.

You should definitily do Challange Mode. You get THE BEST WEAPONS in the game this way. Also some pretty good shields. If you complete it under the restricted time you'll recieve an "S-RANK Weapon" which you get to name and they are damn powerful with great ATA for Ultimate.
Are the S-Rank weapons available to players offline also, like if a few buddies and I decided to pass C-Mode offline oneday?or do you have to be online to name weapons and stuff?

Keep in mind that only C1-7 are available at the moment online.
And no, offline gets you a whole different set of weapons and armor that are completely inferior to S-Rank weapons. :/ Still, it seems that completing offline C-mode is the only way to get several of them (if not all). For collectors, that's the only way to go.
C mode really isn't that difficult either, provided you have a little knowledge of the levels. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif MAPS, these are your best friends in learning C mode. Otherwise, it's trial and error with learning puzzles and other such quirks, really. That's how I learned, anyway. Following a skilled C mode player and taking mental notes (or otherwise) is INVALUABLE, as well.
I hadn't played C mode in well over a year, and all my times are WELL below the recommended times for S-rank... I think I'm on pace to hit 5 and half hours or so, now. o_O Believe me when I say that C mode is much easier on GCN than it used to be.
As long as you have some PSO skills (this is the most important part), it won't be that hard.

the best way to find C-mode games is to do the weekly C-mode held by PSOW, its every Friday at 9pm Pacific. Which would mean tonight
