/facepalm

Until this friday, you can only upgrade within the pm's category. In your case, you can only upgrade to 41x models.

Didn't know that myself. Glad that won't be an issue soon.

But I guess I can't cheat and feed a 421 upgrade to a 210 PM huh? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

..wait, we'll be allowed to go between different PM types after Friday? When was this?

It's based on B ST level, and yes, any PM will be able to become a 422, if she meets the required B ST level with the new PM devices. That's also how you get the buttler and mage-boy.

I wonder how it reacts once you alter the base model; can a 410 transformed into 422 use a 42x PM device to change into those models, or is she still a "410" for those devices?

I thought the PM EX devices made you move from your current model to a 4x0 type, which could then be upgraded to 4x1, 4x2 etc.?

Anduril might be on the money on that one; it would make the old PM devices still keep their main function, too!

The way it works from what I've read so far is:

If you have a 414 PM she can become 424,434,444 or 454 - the last number will be the same, you don't change her type within a base class and then have to upgrade her again (unless you want a different type within that base class) The PM then becomes that new type using the weapons and skill/techs that the new class uses, u can't make a 454 and expect her to bring her sabers and swords with her.

What I want to know is what happens to the synth stats - If you have a pure striking PM now, does she remain that for synths no matter which battle style PM you convert her too???

It's gonna make it easier for people without PM's as you just create the cheapest / quickest PM, take it into battle a few times till the BST is high enough, then feed it the unit for the one you actually wanted. Just means it might not synth what you want if you make for cheap armour pm's and evolve em.

The "Synth Trend" was quoted before as a mistranlation, and actually supposedly means the weapon she favors using, not synthing.

Basically, if you make a Pure strike PM and change her into a "Pure Tech" PM, she'll have the AI and abilities of the new type (450, If I reckon), but will still synth the exact way she used to as a Pure Strike (Because synth % are based on actual levels, and have nothing to do with form or model, and those do not change when you change her type).

At least, that's how I understand it works.

SYNTH TREND, Thanks for clearing that one up - So all 4 of my pure PM's will still stay pure and synth the same way no matter what i make them. I feel a pack of strking PM's coming into play here to assist in battle.

So what about the boy PM's, they appear to be single models one using techs the other both melee and guns. Are they gonna have sub versions or are they 1 off specials?

Sweet..i´m so gonna make my armor PM to help me as a melee PM in missions. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

So now my force dare to bring out the PM to give some use lol.

And i wonder what kind of weapons the Butler will use in the missions?
Would be neat to know. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif
