Weapon Colors

Sorry to sound stupid, but I was curious why almost all the weapons in the game seem to be the same color http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I'm about 2 days into playing psu now, but I have yet to see any weapons that aren't white...is there a way to change the colors or something?

Turn on the post effects.

You seem to be playing on PC and have your Post Effects turned off, go into your options and turn them on.

actually i'm on 360, what are post effects?

color is their element, there are 6 elements then neutral (green) so you should be seeing 7 different colors unless your simply seeing only people with light weps >.>

I had to turn my post effects off cuz the glowing effect was not aligned with the weapon models. The glow effect was centered about one character length above where they are supposed to be.

if it isnt the post effects being mentioned then your just seeing non-element weapons...which pretty much no one uses later >.>

edit: also if your guns are green you need to attach a pa to them

you have to either buy them or make them a certian element.

either buy them that way or synth them with an element.

oh ok, so i'm guessing that when you use a board, and the element depends on the photons you put in?

that is correct, its % will be from 10-50 randomly after synth, that is its modifier against enemies of its opposite element.

eg: a 24% ice saber would deal 24% extra damage to fire creatures, but 24% less to ice creatures.
