Need Madam Brella Level Drop Confirmation

Apparently, the Madam Brella (http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/1/2514/madam_brella/) has been released as a Rappy Amure drop. This comes as an unexpected surprise.

If someone does come across it, could they post the level of the Rappy Amure that dropped it? I'm expecting it will be a sub-level 100 drop.

I came across a few boss drops in the Perfect Bible that were asterisked as either PSU exclusives or AotI exclusives, all depending on what mission they were found in. I wonder if this is the same thing...?

That is a picture from offline mode. The online-version should be female only.

If the female variation drops from the Rappy Amures, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that the male variation will drop from the Jaggo Amures on White Day.

That is correct. I took the picture offline.
The drop and item is completely different compared to online as expected. The animation and appearance of the weapon itself is the same. It's the stats and requirements that people should be aware about. Weapon stats/reqs are as day and night in comparison, via Offline vs Online.

I think it's more of a case of they can drop either, but it depends on what mission you're playing. It seems that LV100+ Amures found in an Illuminus-exclusive mission will drop Madam Brella, while the same enemy will drop [B] Kohibumiteri in one of the original PSU missions like Plains Overlord. Don't quote me on that, though; it's still speculation at this point.

Based on the pictures in the screenshot thread, people have been finding the bow on AotI missions (Lightning Beast for example).

Perhaps it is a dual level-100+ drop?

I've seen several people find the 10* bow. The most common places seems to be the new Forest Mission and Lightning Beasts.

I wouldn't be so hasty. The Madam Umbrella maybe a special drop or different type of drop altogether. We need some more information.

The information that has been provided so far has been very helpful. It has definitely helped to narrow down the possibilities. At this point, any sightings reports are useful.

As for hunting Love Letter, I would suggest killing Curtz in the time trial portion of the Episode 2, Chapter 10, Part 1 story mode mission.

I also agree with you that what's been posted here has helped, I only wish we had more people confirming whether or not it can drop on any rank. We've had one person say her friend found it on B, but I'd like some more proof before I just ran C or B runs over and over for it.

The brella itself is crazy, though. Ground it to 6/7 (I broke going from 1-2 with a +9 grinder. Ew.) and its specs beat out a Shigga Desta at +9 (At least, ATP wise) and a Baret at +3. Hooray for a useful shotgun for my GT.

Yeah, I've seen at least 25-30 bow drops there and no brellas. It may be that the drop rate boosts make them drop Kohis exclusively or somerthing.

So, my assumption is, since it drops on S, confirmed to have dropped on both B and A (any word on C?), it seems like it may be an enemy drop, no matter what level.

Alright. So far, here's what we've got as far as sightings of the Madam Brella. Let me know if I've missed something, and I'll make any necessary changes.

LV10-19:
LV20-29: Scarred Planet B
LV30-39: Lightning Beasts B
LV40-49:
LV50-59: Scarred Planet A, Lightning Beasts A
LV60-69:
LV70-79:
LV80-89:
LV90-99:
LV100-124: Scarred Planet S, Lightning Beasts S
LV125-149:

It was mentioned before that this looks like a special drop, however something that concerns me is that at LV125+, Rappy Amure doesn't seem to drop the Madam Brella, even in an AotI mission. Unfortunately, the only mission that has Rappies that high is Forest of Illusion, so we've got nothing else to test with. I'd almost say it's safe to assume that the Madam Brella will drop from at least LV20-124, but there's the possibility that it could be from LV1-124. Or, a similar situation to the Jaggo Sonichis could be in effect where drop items are staggered between level tiers. To see what I mean, see this article (http://psupedia.info/Jaggo_Sonichi). If that's the case, though, it'd be an odd stagger since the current drops aren't evenly spread out.

If you check the thread lower on the page (The thread that EspioKaos just posted above) you'll see that it is a Rappy Amure drop. We have confirmation that it drops B-S on Lightning Beasts and Scarred Planet, though it has a pretty abysmal drop rate.

well, lets think about it. we know that koei is a level drop. right? well, if the brella AND koei can BOTH drop from the same level... then brella is a special drop! (unless ST added some programming to allow 2 level drops from the same creature...)


this also explains why it is not dropping from FoI. as the jigoboomas are not dropping their special drop, the catichair, and the rappies are not dropping rappy feathers, BT lovers, love letters, and brellas. the only way this can be disproven is if someone finds a brella on FoI... but then een THAT can be disproven if someone finds a catichair/BT lovers/rappy feather/love letter...

I've been through about 20-25 Rappy x4 spawns to get it. I do Lightning beast A to get Tormads. They drop is the boxes where you first see Gainozeros. I got like 15 Tormads in 5 hrs today.

My runs A runs go from 9-11 minutes, depending on map. This is fast enough for me not to need B runs

My S runs go from 14-20 minutes.

Think the 125 is just Forest being Forest, and if we had another mission with em at that level, they'd drop it. Jigoboomas in Forest don't seem to drop Cactachairs, for instance.

what about rappies in the forest? I've only done a B run once, and didnt get rappies. I would totally start doing C or B runs if the rappies dropped brellas everytime, or even love letters. Need more of those.
