First off, hello. Since I'm new to these boards I figure I should say hi and introduce myself. My best friend got me hooked on this game a few weeks ago and I've been playing like mad ever since. I only play offline for now since I don't have a modem adapter or bba, nor can I even get broadband in my area.

Anyways, I play a fonewearl named Zoe. She's a skyly id. I know some might say I should have made her a pinkal, but I actually don't regret her section id since it helps me rake in the meseta. Also, no, I did not make this character cause I thought she was cute or anything. I wanted the largest mst of all the casters plus the strongest simple techs. It's how I've always liked playing casters so it's like second nature to me.

My first question is what difficulty will the delsaber likely drop his left arm for me on? I've killed hundreds of them on normal, hard, and vhard and so far all I've been able to find is the right arm on vhard. I want the shield mainly for the look cause it's all about style. I know that the body parts are rare also.

Another thing that has me puzzled is the mag guide on this site. I did the dex + mind(65) = def + pow(65) thing while Zoe was level 50 and my mag evolved to a Bhima. It still has the standard pb's that it got earlier as well, farlla, leilla, and pilla. Not that those matter to me since I've only gotten a pb a total of 4 times in 60 levels. What I was wondering is if this is a rare mag that hasn't been seen before. The mags name is in yellow so I'm assuming that it is a rare form.

For my final question. What level should I be before trying to beat df on vhard? I tried df at 56 and didn't even make it past his first form. I only had two scapes for the fight and burned through both of them on the spike things at the very beginning. My biggest problems for the fight that I attempted was that I couldn't deal with the spikes quickly enough due to too low a level of rabarta and not enough hp to survive his grants attack.

Right now my hp is at 311 without any hp boosters and my tp is at 876.
DFP: 304 with 2 metal bodies
MST: 525
EVP: 555
Foie: lvl 15
Gizonde: lvl 14
Grants: lvl 9
Gibarta: lvl 9

I have no idea what kind of damage grants will do to df yet since when I tried him at 56 my grants was only lvl 2, but then it was hitting for only about 120ish. I really want to move on to ultimate so I can get the higher level techs, seems nothing higher than lvl 15 will drop in vhard. When I fight df I remove the metal bodies from my frame for two resist angels. I'd add more but I haven't found any higher slot armor or add slot items yet.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

HI! Welcome, I'm pretty new here to but i'll give this a shot.

Go to the caves on very hard, and run around in their until you find a Nar Lilly, they can drop God/HP, and also go into Ruins on very hard, and in one of the boxes on Ruins2 I think are add slots.

*note I have taken into cconsideration your section ID and looked these items up using this site's Item Findings*

Ok, I'll run through the caves some more on vhard and look for the nar lilly. I have over 104 hours play time on this character so far and I've yet to see any rare monsters so I won't hold my breath for the god hp, hehe.

I've cleared ruins on vhard twice so far and have not found any add slots in any boxes. I did find some stink armor, but no slots on it so it's collecting dust in the bank for now. Btw, how do you know what level an item box is? I mean, is there a way to tell what level a box is? I will admit I don't pay much attention to them in most rooms but I have noticed at least 2 different colored boxes before, or 2 different style of boxes.

Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the wonderful world of PSO. All your time are belong to us.

I don't think Skyly can even find Delsaber's Left Arm, but don't quote me on that. If you have the drive to play more than one character, I suggest a Redria ID. They find the Left Arm in Very-Hard, as well as all sorts of useful finds in other areas (including God/Battle and God/Technique).

Bhima isn't a rare MAG, it's a special MAG. Rare is something that's hard to find. A Bhima is something you can make in your spare time. Big difference (and a lot of people don't seem to understand that). The guide has a funky Japanese translation which says Peema, but it's the same thing.

Level is inconsequential (to a point) when facing Dark Falz. What matters is your HP. To survive the final form on Very-Hard you'll need 391+ HP in offline single-player mode (451+ HP in offline multi-player and online). For the first and second phase of the battle use Barta (equip a Mace of Adaman if you have one) or Rabarta (for multiple targets) on the Dervants (spikes). Use Zonde (equip a Club of Zumiuran if you have one) on the first form of Falz. Use Barta (equip a Mace of Adaman if you have one) on the second form of Falz. Use Foie (equip a Club of Laconium if you have one) on the third and final form of Falz. Grants is kinda pointless. It's too slow and costs too much TP for only mediocre damage. And since you're a FOnewearl you get a nice boost to basic spells. Add in the common special canes (mentioned above) and you have an extra 30% damage to your basic spells.

If you need to find a Club of Laconium you can get them from random boxes in the following areas with any ID...
Hard Cave 3, Mine 1, Mine 2, Ruins 1, Ruins 2, Ruins 3, Very-Hard Forest 1, Forest 2, Cave 1, and Cave 2.

If you need to find a Mace of Adaman you can get them from random boxes in the following areas with any ID...
Very-Hard Cave 3, Mine 1, Mine 2, Ruins 1, Ruins 2, Ruins 3, Ultimate Forest 1, Forest 2, Cave 1, and Cave 2.

If you need to find a Club of Zumiuran you can get them from random boxes in the following areas with any ID...
Ultimate Cave 3, Mine 1, Mine 2, Ruins 1, Ruins 2, and Ruins 3.

I realize you're still in Very-Hard, so it'll be awhile before you can get a Club of Zumiuran. But you'll know where to look for one. I don't play much in Episode 2 so I couldn't tell you where to find these items there. Also note that some enemies drop these items as well, but that varies depending on the ID.
