3+ shouldn't allow anyone else to join, but would make solo'ing as any form of a techer hells a lot easier.

Two more? You mean like having two players and four NPCs in a party? I don't really think that's necessary. The missions aren't all that hard to begin with, plus it kind of defeats the purpose of online gaming if everyone is playing in 1-2 person teams with 4 NPCs all the time.

Why only 2? That would only make a 5 person party. Surely if they were to increase it, it would make sense to increase it to a full party of NPCs?

Although according to the story missions, guardians normally work in groups of 2 or 3, so it makes sense to limit it to 2 NPCs.

Not only that, but do you honestly want to party with 4 characters that are dumber than a clump of rocks?

It helps if no one is around and you have no friends online.

I think its a good idea. For someone like me who's in the middle ground of levels and who is tired of getting kicked around by high level monsters, a few more NPC would make playing just fine. 3 at max though. No more.

It would be interesting. But they do make good meatshields. You have to admit that. Well, atleast they still do dmg.

Damage? In the time I do a few thousand with dambarta, my PM does... about 200. At least the rifle insta-kills.

I'd look at it more of having a massive array of meat-shields.

When I'm playing my fT and I want to speed the runs up a bit I bring Leo and Tonnio along, they get the job done just fine. I honestly don't think I'd need or want any more NPCs, that would just be overkill for most missions. However, it *would* be pretty cool to have all the story characters following you around at once. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

No thanks.

My PM and one other NPC are all I need when it comes to soloing.

YES! I would love this when I roleplay by myself. I could invite Hyuga and Maya and Laia and Leo and it would just kwadruple the amount of story elements I could reenact!!!!

idk y but i didnt realize until now.....

i was thinking "what makes your PM a guardian?" she isnt really, u have to take her with u on missions as her training to lvl her up! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif (her Battle stats)

Personally, I'd be happier if the leader could approve the PMs of other characters joining.

I like the idea it would help for solo'ing A missions. The limit needs to be increased so you can at least have another in NPC in your party.

well, i am not against the idea of having more NPC, but the problem is after that. You all should know that NPCs love to TALK A LOT. If you have a party of 4-5 NPCs, you will be overflow with their kindness of dialouge.

For Example:
"From Behind!" "Oh, they're so cute!" "Save me!" "Is that you mother?" "My beautiful face." and so on. It's gonna be mad confusion with them around and not to mention that their word's bubbles are expecially HUGE. You might end up blinded by their dialouges. LOL

if you want more NPCs in your party...try playing offline.

Two NPC's is fine. Most NPC's suck anyway.

EDIT: Oh and their random comments are bad enough.

Oh that would be great for me! I'd never need to party with other people then! I love my char, I like playing online for the entertainment of listening to ppl in lobbies and the casino... and selling stuff, but the gaming part leaves MUCH to be desired. Usually when I want to solo I have to switch to AF and hope my pm and Lumia feel like saving my a$$ if it's necessary. I'd take just 1 more NPC to have my beastman sandwich and still be able to level up my pm ^_^

I like the idea of 3, but make it that 1 has to be your PM and upto 2 NPC's. I would and a number of people I have played with agree, to have each player bring their own PM, so your max party would be 3 players & 3 PM's. This means if you have to split you always have your little friend there to heal/fight or just be a meat shield. There are less arguements over who gets to take there PM on a run, and I think more people would take them.

I like the idea of always being able to bring your PM, even if you join up with someone and your not the leader... then you can always have someone near you... but i dont think they need to add more npc's to the group for soloing...

Honestly, I dont bring any NPC's with me except my PM... I think the problem is they need to make them smart, so players dont need to use them as meat shields http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif... The hunters should run a bit aways when the monsters spawn and attack, the rangers should know to back up and shoot. the techers should use elements that there weak againts, buff, cure, reverse and so forth.

AND I think being able to customize the npc's would be cool... wouldnt it be cool to set up your PM's pallet? AND if there PA's levellled as you play? and be able to do this with any NPC you use?

I suppose it would be slightly useful in some circumstances and even a bit interesting. Wouldn't make a world of a difference for me though.

I'd think haveing 4+ NPC's would be overkill (3 max might be feezable). Though I always thought it would be cool for other players to be able to bring in their PM's as well. Sharing all your various PM's would of been fun, no?

I don't know about everyone else, but I don't hemhorrage $10/month to run with half-wit NPCs.

Same here. I really wish we could allow the PMs of party members to join, that way we could level up our PMs at the same time. Nothing more annoying than partying with friends and having to keep switching PMs after each mission just so they can get some damn EXP.

And if the PM's spam their silly chat, so what? Could it be honestly any worse than some of the random asshats you meet in game that constantly spam face chat and clutter up your screen? (At least PMs don't have face chat.)

ilike when my pm says when on fire "hot tamale coming through"

Lol, you hemorrhage $10 a month to run with half-wit APCs? (actual player characters- I'm hoping it catches on).

"Attack from behind!" "It's no good, pull out!"

I can barely tolerate two NPC's spamming. Ruby's dead on, four is overkill.
