I'd much rather have:

A) The ability to level up NPCs' type levels, if they're a basic class, they'd change to a set type (i.e. Leo might change to FF, Lou might change to RAmarl [seriously, rifles+rods+double sabers = ???]). I hate how most NPCs are a level 123/1 Hunter...I'm looking at you, Laia...and your 300-500 damage with an axe swing. >_>
B) The ability to outfit our NPCs or PMs with weapons/armor we have acquired or PAs we have leveled up.

my Pmis awesome though, she shouts "Suffer!" "Die!" "Let's kill them!" and when she cant find me "Get back here, Missy!" I like her attitude :3
