AotI-PC/PS2: What the title update means (for us)?

The Title Update for the Xbox 360 server has been approved, More info on the Xbox 360 content update coming 2/15 is here.

NEW ITEMS (AMBITION OF THE ILLUMINUS ONLY)

New My Room items are now available in the variety shop and for exchange in the Casino. Some existing Casino items will no longer be available, but will return in rotation.

NEW PARTNER MACHINE UPGRADES (AMBITION OF THE ILLUMINUS ONLY)

Extra evolution devices for partner machinery have been added. They are useable on all GH4xx types if required conditions are met. And "GH470" and "GH480" are new partner machine models.

* EX Device GH41x ;Required: Battle Points over 10

* EX Device GH42x ;Required: Battle Points over 15

* EX Device GH43x ;Required: Battle Points over 20

* EX Device GH44x ;Required: Battle Points over 25

* EX Device GH45x ;Required: Battle Points over 30

* EX Device GH470 ;Required: Battle Points over 10 (Boys type)

* EX Device GH480 ;Required: Battle Points over 30 (butler type)

Note to players who are still using original Phantasy Star Universe:

Original PSU users will see "GHX005" displayed in the screen when viewing Partner Machinery evolved to GH470 or GH480 in a room where original PSU players can enter.

Original PSU users will see "GH470" or "GH480" as a plain blue silhouette in the field – this is not a bug.

Inventory Expanding Device:

The "NanoTrancer EX" is able to expand inventory of Partner Machinery. With this device, your Partner Machine’s inventory will be expanded by an additional 50 items. You can use more then one to double your PM’s inventory from 300 to 500 items.

Does this mean we're also getting that stuff since it was delayed?

I hope so. They are once again shafting the PC/PS2 servers. We better get the Casino additions.

I'm sure this update will bring eveything back into line for both servers. (Well except FoI, which isn't mentioned in there, and I can't seem to find the post about it on the offical forums)

I think by referencing the Title Update, they meant that all the glitches it was intended to fix will be fixed. I think the content will be on both servers.

Chillaura says that the same content should be going up for PC/PS2. To quote him:


Just added some news to front page and announcements forum.

Basicly Title Update passed MS certification and we will put it up on Friday, with the rest of the delayed content (except forest of illusion).

The delayed content for PC/PS2 should be going up as well.

It has been asked why Forest of Illusion is being left out of the 360 update, but no official response has been made yet. The thread seems to have turned into a discussion of .hack. -_-

Bah. Oh well, if it means having the mission working 100%(assuming the scouts are reporting issues) I can wait on FoI a bit. The other additions are more than enough to tide me over.
