PSU-Mission: Any luck w/ FOI?

Just wanted to see who has had luck with getting FOI, because I know that I have yet to get it.

Snagged it a few times first day, haven't hunted it since then.

Got me a few Tippies, an Al-Senba, and a Kohi.

I have tried for the longest time just to see how this so called mission is but i have yet to see it. =/

my friends and I have had it show up 3 times, i haven't really tried for it since, because after 3 you pretty much have everything that drops there. 500% bonus seems to help >.>;

friend of mine using 2 characters has yet to get it for themselves. it took me 3 days of moatoob runs to see it on my own screen.

To be honest, thats the way its been for me. Got it three times the first day it was out, and haven't hunted it since, lol. Too busy hunting Brella.

let me be the first to say the GBR doesnt help you find it. me and a select group of friends spammed VoC in a certain fashion to where we got 10 chances in like 5-7 minutes. we got it atleast twice in 30 minutes. i found it on my own after 4 runs of VoC.

I´ve just found out that Its actually possible to solo the misson 100%. I was over a friend´s house, he had psu for ps2, and he had to go out to buy something just as he got the forest. So he asked me to do it, while in the middle of the mission i noticed a bit of lag. so when i got to the switches i pressed them all, since the game was lagging the switches din´t activate until i got the imformation received from the server. By that time i had already pressed them all so it made the laser gate open.

Well when i play psu it usually lags when i try to load a vid on the pc, so i could see myself trying this on the 360 XD. When it´s out that is.

I finally got FOI today, it was the first time I have played it. I didn't get any decent rares, but i was more than excited to get to lvl 119 with my character and also max out Fortegunnger. (On to wartecher now...)

Then we checked it when we got out, I had it, and we checked it after that, another person had it. Not too much interesting stuff drops there, tbh, and the nostalgia wears off (especially if you don't need MP or exp).

Me and 2 of my KSI friends were doing the boost road, and on the Dimagolus mission, I saw the glorious red of FoI text. Unfortunatly, we only had 3 players, so we couldn't get anything, but my friend leveled up, he got 2 catila senba (or whatever the end box armor drop is on A) and I got an Al tip 22% fire, which I am currently deciding whether I should keep it or sell it now.

Mine defense C is faster than Valley C. On block 2 you can run past every enemy except for three that unlock the two doors. Then after you kill those three you run up and slaughter 4 Kogg Nadd and your out. Valley you get stuck on the second block because you have to kill every creature. even if it's just one hit kills, they take a while to spawn and do their stupid animations.

I know this is a four day old post, but it doesn't appear that anyone has mentioned this yet.

I know someone who has gotten it 7 times from spamming Mine Defense C solo and then recruiting the first 3 people who answer his email.

Plus he's picking up spicia which is always nice.

The desert side tends to drop burning spicia.

actually I run both in about 3-4 minutes solo. While you may be killing more in VoC, there's less distance to travel, and you can skip most of B1.

Mine Defense you can't skip a lot of B1, and the blocks are just longer. For me, they're about equal.

Some people have more luck than others.. I got it my first time today, then 1 mission afterwards I got it again.. all luck in my opinion.

What's the easiest/guaranteed way to pull it? Do you have to go through the whole GBR run? Or can you run the first mission over and over? Also, do you *have* to run S class missions to pull it, or can you do standard ranks?

you just have to run a moatoob mission. ANY mission on moatoob counts except of cours the ones in the guardians HQ. you dont need to even be on GBR. you do have to finish the mission though, any rank counts. you can even abandon after you finish the mission and check the same lobby. if you have it, it will appear in any lobby you go to on moatoob, you can even back out of the lobby to invite people, but if you choose to do another mission when you get FoI you'll lose it and have to do more runs to find it again.

there really is no "guaranteed" way to get it. it's all based on luck. you either get it or you do runs for hours/days and never see it >.>; easiest thing to do is spam a fast C mission until it pops up on your lobby menu.

fastest way i've gotten it is to have the whole party split and each do 3-4 minute Valley of Carnage C runs until someone gets it. more people you have spamming, faster it goes. sometimes it just doesn't happen though.

I never found the forest but some friends did. I tried grinding c weps do to my so called luck and ended up with 15 2/2's. I used low grinders for the first two then 6,7, and 8's for the third. Very high indeed. I made it to the third grind 4 times out of 150 attempts so no wonder I could never find this forest. Things are so cheap since nothing is really rare anymore so at least I'm able to buy what I need.
