Partner Machine EX question

SO I pick up an EX-422 board being that my PM is a GM-422. But a can't use it to upgrade? It's product lvl is 100 and battle is at 54. What am I doing wrong?

You cant use a EX board on the same type of PM. Its only if you want to go from like a 45X to a 41X. It doesnt do anything with the same number type.

EX just means you can go to any type. that's it. It's not a super form like everyone seems to think it is. o.O

correct. so you can have like a TECH PM that is 412.
