Noobquestions (Boositems/grinding/lvling spots for beginners

i was curious bout a few things and couldnt find a noob friendly answer...since i just started out this week and am only lvl 14 human hunter i d need to know a bit of stuff related to PSU...

1. Booster items like Aktaride/Defbaride etc... for how long do they hold? Do they have a time limit or do they hold for a whole mission? Or are the forever(which would not be logical but there is no desription that shows their duration time)

2. About grinding for example.I was about to synth a
Alseva Palassa with most likely a fireelement...now...i wanted to ask after i did the synth the weapon is from Tenorra Works...so for grinding i go to matabo into their shop right? What do i exactly need for grinding twin sabers and how much does grinding cost me?

3. Last but not least i m pretty confused bout lvling..when i lvl i get so few "job" exp... the only good profession exp i got was when i killed that big flying demon in the "Demons" quest on neudaiz...but usually i dont get much mission points...is there better places for me to go to get profession lvls up quick?? And lvling in general...is there some "secret" good places i should go to...?? would be nice if someone could answer me this question...dont forget i m an absolute noob so i probably wont understand every...PSU related word i didnt hear yet http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

1. They last just as long a Tier 2 buffs. So roughly a couple of minutes.
2. For grinding you need to make synth or buy Grinders. You can buy the Grinder Bases and Boards at the Synth shop on the Colony, and you can also find Grinder Bases in missions.
3. If you have AotI the best place to level your class is Parum West's AMF HQ runs.

1. I think they last as long as lvl 11-20 buffs, so for about 4 or 5 minutes.

2. For grinding, well, you need grinders. You can find them in player shops, of varying types. C grinders can only be used on C-rank weps, B can be used on B or C rank weps, etc. So you get the grinders, then go to the appropriate shop on whatever planet and use those grinders to attempt to grind the weapon. (That's it in a nutshell)

3. The best place would probably be the mission you start from the AMF Metro lobby.

hey guys thanks for the damn quick answers..i m really surprised how friendly people on these forums are o.O

so...i m playing the xbox360 version of the game...
About the grinders.... are they called c - grinder and stuff or do they have special names...i have the german version of the game so i have different item names sometimes...when i tried to grind my weapon in the tenora works shop on moatoob but he asked me for "schleifer"...well...that probably would be a grinder i guess...

oh yeah another question...

how many people do fit on one "universe"?
And why doesnt Sega combine a few universes to have more players on one...so its a "bigger" community...at least you have more people arround you..dont you think so?

Well about the buff items. They last for exactly 3.00 minutes and not 4-5 minutes =P
