just wondering what is the most popular race if got a beast lv 80 and a cast lv 37 and out OK all the races i prefer casts what do u think

I'd say casts. Mainly because they have more variety in their special abilities. Although they are normally ugly as sin.

Newmans are the most notorious, therefore making them the most popular. They are the most talked about of all the four by a large margin.

Humans are the most popular because most people don't want to "look silly" by making a less conventional CAST or Beast. Newman isn't as unpopular due to the fact that SPACE-ELVES ARE KEWL and kawaii (*'o')

Human b/c they can adapt to any situation and have balanced stats. Beast if you wanna have alot of customization options.

Bare facts could answer this question easily. Facts that none of us have access to.

Well, SEGA could gather all the online data to determine the "most popular race," but doesn't have access to everyone's offline characters, so it would probably have been better to phrase this poll "What is your favorite race?" since that would just allow the tallied vote of PSOWers to determine what race is most popular among PSOWers, and, by statistical extension within a certain margin of error, the player base as a whole.


I voted CAST. Given my name and avatar, I'd hope nobody's surprised by that.


Newman is my second-most played, though I don't really like what ST has done with Newmans in this game. I'd rather have the Nei-style Numans back.

Humans are just too vanilla for me (at least I get chocolate sprinkles with CAST). That, and I just don't have that knack for making a Beast that isn't as ugly as sin.

Newmans are the most popular, I'm sure most have at least one. Now, if you're talking about what people actually use then I'm going to guess Cast first, and Beast second.

JP had a race data collection iirc. It was Casts, Female Newmans, Humans, then beasts.

Personally, I've seen casts mostly on my random gbr runs.

Sadly, elves aren't has popular as you think. I know many people that don't have a newman alt. and usually don't care for Force types.
