A question about rare clothing

I have heard rumors that wearing high-star clothing improves the rate and quality of rare drops in missions.

Is there any truth to this, or is this just crazy superstition?

I am totally ditching the stupid Voloyal set and putting on something that doesn't make me look like I have dubious moral fiber.

The only thing that you can control which increases the rate of rare drops is your Daily Fortune (luck). You can also run GBR missions with the drop rate boost or find the Forest of Illusion missions. BOTH of these missions state the increased drop rates.

There is currently nothing anyone can do to improve the quality of rare drops.

In summation, other than your daily luck or certain specified missions, there is no way to increase rare drops. No room decoration setup. No clothing ensemble. No funny dance done at the beginning of each mission. No particular universe to run in as opposed to others. Etc.

if you set up your room with all items from the casino, and wear the Voloyal set, you'll get increased drops. Of course, the items have to be set up in a certain fashion. And, it only works at a certain time of the day. And everyday it changes depending on what race you are. Oh and male characters don't benefit from it at all, only females....

I wear the moatoob top, i like it. but i wear the army pants and the outfit is white/grey. as for the topic of this forum it would be cool for rarer clothing and they casino set to actually increase drop rate or if theres an actual luck stat like in PSO increase it.

if theres an actual luck stat other then the +1 +2 +3 symbol by your name it wouldnt be hard to code. Ive been meaning to rip apart the code to look at it but been to busy playing. I dont think it would be hard for ST to add something cool like this in, but i highly doubt they would >.>

No... you all have it all wrong, you have to use the old room tickets(Pre-AoI) and put the corresponding rareness of items in the matching color squares it increases your luck with drops... True Story

Stop whinning about the casino outfit being to showy! its only pererted if u think of it that way, some people might actually like the way ti looks as the clothes themselves! (I got the cast one jsut cuz the blue on the pants of one of the color variations look like jeans and i'd KILL for a pair of jeans on this gmae! lol)
