well it comes down to what kind of techer do you want to be?

If you want full out spell damage: fortetecher
If you want to be more of a supporter: arcotecher

If you would rather be more hybrid,

guntecher is proficient in guns and support techs.
wartecher is proficient at melee and attack techs.

not this isn't to say that wartechers and fortechers can't support or guntechers and arcotechers can't damage spellcast. Its just what they were built towards.

just my 2 cents

For leveling techs, Acro is best hands down because of the innate speed boost, but after that, FT outdamages, when fully kitted out, Har and all.

War- and Gun- are hybrids. Wartechers will use a lot of madoogs paired with one-handed melee, guntechers will be pairing wands to one-handed guns.

If you hate dodging and get hit a lot, go WT. they have a ton of HP and melee is THE easy button nowadays. plus they are pretty well rounded everywhere. If you like to be fast casting with small melee/gun options, and/or play nurse, go AT. If you want LOL BIG NUMBARS then go FT, but you will probably die a lot if you're not used to it. If you want to spread status effects and play nurse, go GT. its all up to your personal playing style.

Hmm, all those classes play very differently... However I do fancy WT and fT most out of those.

FT if you can handle if it's crap stats from the start, but if you plan to use mostly techs and want an more survivable stats, do acrotecher. If you like guns and don't care for offense techs, do Guntecher. Don't really care for WT, because hunter vaierty blows.

If you want to mostly tech then go with Fortetecher.
If you want to melee a bit and tech more go with Acrotecher.
If you want to melee and tech a little go with Wartecher.
If you want to shoot guns and use mostly support spells go with Guntecher.

You should get Resta and Reverser first and the four buff spells. For attack techs you should get the Ra, Dam, and standard type of techs. Gi spells are good too but I don't usually use them a lot as a Wartecher.

Once you can get Pa frag techs try out Giresta, Nosdiga and maybe Megid if you have time to level it.

This is my opinion so I'm probably wrong in a lot of places xD
