To AFK bullet level, you need a turbo controller. In the guide about afk lvling, there's a post describing how to use JoyToKey for pc owners who dont have a controller with rapid-fire. Thing is, i have no friggin idea on how to use JoyToKey. I configure it and leave it in the background, but PSU just keeps controlling like normal. BTW, i'm using a logitech vibration controller.

run psu in window mode first, then run joy2key.

dammit. Just tried that, didn't work. I made sure it works in Notepad, and it does. I tried opening JoyToKey both before PSU started, and after. Still nothing.

there's a setting in your options to change from KB to controller. set it to that with the controller plugged in then restart PSU. After you get the controller working you can set it back to KB and you can use both at the same time.

Creator of that topic here. :3 Hmm... Are your keyboard options default? You would want to make the keyboard positions relevant to what it is. Such as photon art to, say, triangle... Photon art, by default, would be the right arrow key. If it isn't, change the options, etc.

Yeah, they're definitely default. It's weird. My controller's already detected by the game (obviously), and whenever I run JTK, the game just uses my normal gamepad controls. -_-
Here's (http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h32/Psycho_Sonic/joytokeyhelp.jpg) a link to a pic of my settings.

for one, you should set up your regular DPAD controls through the settings menu... You only really need to set up autofire for psu on joytokey. try cranking the autofire up on 30, and make sure you have PSU's window "in focus".

Actually, you shouldn't even need PSU in window mode with JoyToKey - I don't. Just set it up exactly as SATatami's guide says (should be in the floating stickies list if you're having trouble finding it, I think).

;_;
I DID set it up. And I just cleared my whole JTK config and only set up the square/button 1. And JTK still doesn't override the controls... ;_;
Edit:
I just realized something. I'm using Vista. Is JTK not compatible with it?

Hmm... That might be it. I don't use Vista to be able to tell you... =/

I don't use Vista, either, so that may just be the problem.
...Actually, looking into JTK's readme, I think I've found the problem. JTK doesn't have strong support for applications using DirectInput (a part of DirectX which manages keyboard, mouse, and joystick input). Seeing as PSU uses DirectX, I think it's safe to say it probably uses DirectInput. The problem, then, likely lies with potential changes to DirectInput between DirectX 9 (XP) and DirectX 10 (Vista).
