View Full Version : PSU-Item: Anyone seen a Vijeri/Resist offline?

I'm curious if anyone's seen this unit offline yet. It's in the item database, but there's no pics of it in there, and I'm curious about one little thing

http://www.pso-world.com/psu/items/1749/4571.jpg

See in this pic how it has all the icons for the various effects on the bottom? Which one of those is lit up on the bottom on a Vijeri/Resist? I'm wondering which icon represents the "incapacitate" status effect.

I think it might be the eye-looking one after the confusion icon and before the buff icon, but I'd like to get a pic of this screen of the unit if at all possible just to make sure.

Thanks in advance. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

incapactitate = dead

basically it prevents you from dying instantaneously, like via a megid to the face.

I think I answered the question very well, thank you.

You answered it like she asked what incapactitate meant. If it has a resist unit, it's safe to say it has a symbol for it. ¬_¬

Seeing this makes me wonder, why would you need a resist against Buffs(2nd from the right)?

That explains the Debuff icon...

Well, it could be used as a drawback, you know. Maybe have a unit that gives many resists, but prevents you from being buffed? Maybe a... Tero / All Resist or something, have some stat penalties too, and it could be an interesting option.

That could be interesting. Or maybe just having it on some unit that gives you higher stats with the drawback of Buffs not effecting you.

It's so when you use an Agtaride and a n00b techer comes in giving everyone LV. 1 shifta, you won't be debuffed.

Then the agitaride dies! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_cry.gif

Agtaride and other boosting items actually count as buffs too....

Cadamar posted a pic close to what I was looking for. I'd just like to get a pic of that icon lit up off the actual unit, that's all. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to drop offline (it's not listed on the offline drop charts in the Walkthroughs section). Someone will have to get it via an offline hack to get any images.

Or someone from the Japanese servers could post a pic. It drops in Ep3, Chapter 5.

All you'd have to do is take it off, use buff item, and put it back on.

It could just take away the buff when you put it back on..

Yeah, but none of the other resist units work retroactively, so why would that one?

yes there is a resist for everything, including buffs! lol which i would want cuz everytime i bring up how my low level acrotecher has lvl 31 buffs and his hgih level acrotecher has lvl 11 buffs, he purposely jsut overwrites my buffs the whole mission and the would be very helpful lol

I did a test with a friend. Used all four of my 31+ buffs, then had him overwrite Zodial with a very low level buff (under 21, for sure). We waited until they ran out. Zodial didn't run out any sooner than the other three buffs.

Conclusion? You can't overwrite high level buffs with lower ones.

Thank god they fixed that.

Now they need to make lower level debuffs not overwrite higher level buffs...
