Mag Timer is a program that promotes the consistent and periodic feeding of mags.

It does what it says. Quite useful if you ask me. Read the included help file for more information.

wouldn't this be... in some form or another.. a mod-able offence?

I dunno... a direct link to a download seems so dirty...

Um, what are you talking about? I don't know why this is a problem.

Why you ask? Because anyone who downloads it has no idea if its a clean file or what the hell it is they are downloading. Esspecially because its a zip file, I'm not trying to say that your trying to send out virii or anything but I would think thats why mods wouldnt like this.

This is gonna be pretty damn useful for when I'm just chillin', feeding my mag while doing something on the PC. Otherwise I tend to forget about PSO and let it sit there for like, 10 minutes before I remember about it.

Tell me, did you program this, or are you just sharing?

*rolls eyes*

I doubt anyone would be that stupid... If he really wanted to infect systems with a virus, I seriously doubt he'd use a zip file on a Phantasy Star Online message board to spread it. That's an insult to real virus spreaders. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I wrote the program, and I'm not trying to infect anyones systems. Just trying to be helpful http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Well there are some reasons that I will not go into here, but it has nothing to do with cheating or hacking.

Well, if you're paranoid like me, you'll have a virus scanner that would be able to detect viruses before they have a chance to do anything. Just because it's in a compressed archive doesn't mean anything bad. It's the most compact way to transport multiple files.

Here's an easier way to feed Mags: they get hungry every 3 beats, no matter what Mag it is.

What do you do if you forget to feed the mag every three beats? Just saying.

You know, somebody over on the Gamefaqs boards threw a flash version of one of those together last night.

Um, that's it.

You can set the interval in which it notifys you (default: 3 mins, 30 secs.) It will make a noise after time amount of time has passed, then automatically reset itself after 30 seconds. You can just leave it running and then wait to feed the mags when you enter a new game after the timer goes off.

the mag gets hungry 200 seconds after it's last feeding...

Hey, pretty neat man. I was going to make a .wav file that is silent for about 4 minutes with a noise at the end and then have it loop, I guess this saves me the trouble.

Its great but my comp is in a different room than my GCN.

Also I thought you could feed your mag 1 time every 5 minuts.

If you want to configure the program to go off after 3 minutes and 20 seconds, then you can always enter this information in the configuration menu.
