Sad thing is was i was TRYING to be more anatomical. But then i got alittle lost because of how her back and front work with that angle, then it sorta fell apart.

Im not critiquing your artstyle this comment is just my personal opinion about the subject matter. I have for the most part played almost every game of "Metroid", enjoyed each new twist and challenge of terrain and complicated maps. Enjoyed the mistery that Samus held over me during all those years. And now... all I see is Samus's zero suit, here, everywhere, even at cons. Im sorry to say, that won't ever be Samus for me, that is just another generic heroine that uses sex appeal to be sellable -_- Bring back the bad ass armored hero/bounty hunter she was and is meant to be. Enough of this eye candy crap.

With that said. To help you out with proportions you could invest in a wooden doll sold in many art craft stores that is anatomically correct and can be posed to your liking. And you could use that as a point of reference.
