Poetry.
Sure, it may not seem so bad.

But, he's started speaking in poetry, writing in poetry, and even texting in poetry.
It's gone too far.

What do I do? ._.

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Meira: Because someone had to post at least one bit of poetry in this anti-poetic thread http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

I was thinking more, 'get him into Rap music'. But then again...

I say you give him one of William Shatner's spoken word albums. That'll set 'em straight.
EDIT: Never mind...

You watch. I'll wander into his room one day to see him sat on a chair holding his knees, and the walls will be covered in these weird poems about suicide. ._.

Or maybe not. But it's really kinda annoying me, no matter how many times I tell him. It's like he's doing it on purpose to wind me up +.+

If that's the case either 1) Start talking in poetry also to see how he likes it, or 2) Start talking in simple phrases and grunts, to offset his over-eloquence.

Go for experimental poetry.

If it ain't a sentence fragment or grammatically incorrect, you're not doing it right.

Did Poetry stop returning your phone calls, or is this a mutual avoidance?

My friend recently became obsessed with women's feet http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
its all he talked about it was creepy, so i started talking about my obsession with fat women. never heard him mention his little foot fetish ever again http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Ketchup, i could lend you one of my three ultimate hitchikers guide to the galaxy books. trust me the movie isnt that great in comparison to the books, actually of all the radio recordings, television 6-part series, movies and books, the books are the best, and they werent my first exposure to HHGTTG. just be prepared, you might lose your sanity in the flight.

Live life
Live life like you're gonna die
Because you're gonna
I hate to be the bearer of bad news
But you're gonna die

Maybe not today or even next year
But before you know it you'll be saying
Is this all there was?
What was all the fuss?
Why did I bother?

Now, maybe you won't suffer maybe it's quick
But you'll have time to think
Why did I waste it?
Why didn't I taste it?
You'll have time
Because you're gonna die.

Yes it's gonna happen because it's happened to a lot of people I know
My mother, my father, my loves
The president, the kings and the pope
They all had hope

And they muttered just before they went
Maybe, I won't let go
Live life like you're gonna die
Because you are

Maybe you won't suffer maybe it's quick
But you'll have time to think
Why did I waste it?
Why didn't I taste it?
You'll have time
'Cause you're gonna die

I tell you who else left us
Passed on down to heaven no longer with us
Johnny Cash, JFK, that guy in the Stones
Lou Gehrig, Einstein, and Joey Ramone
Have I convinced you?
Do you read my lips?
This may come as news but it's time
You're gonna die
You're gonna die

By the time you hear this I may well be dead
And you my friend might be next
'Cause we're all gonna die

Yeah, oh maybe you won't suffer and maybe it's quick
But you'll have time to think
Why did I waste it?
Why didn't I taste it?
You'll have time
You'll have time cause you're gonna die
Yes, you're gonna die
You're gonna die, I tell you
You're gonna die
You are gonna die

'Cause maybe you won't suffer maybe it's quick
But you have time to think
Why did I waste it?
Why didn't I taste it?
You'll have time 'cause you're gonna die

Live Life
Life life like you're gonna die
Because you're going to
Oh yes
I hate to be the beater of bad news
But you're gonna die

Maybe not today or even next year
But before you know it you'll be saying
Is this all there was?
What was all the fuss?
Why did I bother?
Why did I waste it?
Why didn't I taste it?
You'll have time, baby
You'll have time
'Cause you're gonna die
You are gonna die
Oh yeah

Only crazy in FKL. Outside of FKL, serious mod is serious.

I may go out and buy them at some point, i have a bunch of reading to do between then and now though. I have to finish the Zombie Survival set, have a bunch of Time Magazines to go through, and have a mythology book I want to read.

Rap n00bs are bad though, what with the most artists on the same song = best song mentality. "Ah ah ah." - The Count
