Characters Height Problem

When Creating a new character how can i tell how tall he is?. I'm trying to make my character 5'8 but I can't tell. can some one help me. I know this doesn't seem like much but i'm really picky about creating characters.

There is no sure fire way to tell a character's height (no actual measurements to speak of), but if you are on the PC I recommend making a character offline, then screen cap the height adjustment until you get it right, then use the proper screen cap and match it when you make your Online character.

Not sure about a specific height... it depends on the race because they set up the proportions thing by that race's average. I suggest making a character and seeing how the height you chose relates to everyone else as a test (or to NPC's and stuff if you're offline), then remake it accordingly. It's kind of what I did with my first character on PSU, which was human (;o). It worked because I think my current character's height is perfect now.

That might work, but it will take some time for you to figure out the proper height-to-ruler ratio. I basically did what Kylie did, and compared myself to Shop NPCs, though I made my Male Newman a tad bit too short(but I'm going to get him FOnewm shoes, so it all balances out).

I think testing it first hand is the easiest way because I sure don't know of any measurements to tell you.

I remember there was a topic on this subject last year. someone even provided the NPC physical stats through the Perfect Bible, but i dont feel like digging it up right now. try searching "character height" under PSU General forums for more details.

anyways, the Bible lists both Ethan and Hyuga as being either 5'10 or 5'11.

My advice: make a human, go through the tutorial to do a mission with Hyuga, and compare size.

My estimate is that 5'8 is right around the half way mark for character size, maybe a little under.

Ethan and Hyuga are that tall? Wow... I'd figure they'd be like around my height or shorter (5'7). Anyway, I still think comparing to online is better than playing through offline. I mean, all you got to do is find a group of people or an object like a table and see how much more height you need.
