Hello, my name is Ark and I am addicted to PSU. XD Aren't we all? Anyways, I've run into a dilemma. I am a level 21 CAST hunter who really does not know what to do with himself.

It's mainly weapon wise and PAs. I can't decide on what to use and what to level. I currently prefer to use a spear with the PA that leads to a series of stabs for it's second attack. Sorry, I can't remember it's name. I currently have it at level 17 and while I pride myself in that, all my other PAs are lacking.

I recently discovered the art of Saber/handgun. At first I laughed at it and never bothered, but now, I am really liking Gravity Strike.

To top it all off, I really have no clue on where to level. Parties are scarce at this level and so is meseta...It's pretty rough online. Offline the whole game was pretty much press Radiga to win. I really like the difficulty spike online has, however, I dont feel like I am going anywhere.

Any advice for the poor CAST? I'm currently camped on Universe 2, Mad Beasts B, then I do the Sleeping Warriors C and pray for a something blade drop, I sold one for 500000 earlier today. If it goes normally for a higher price, then gratz to the person who got it. If I accidentally ripped em off, then I am extremely sorry...but dont worry...>_> I used the cash on parts and useless crap >_> *whistles*

Well, thats about it...if any of ya have a lowbie character and want to play together...or have some spare time and can run meh to the casino...look me up! lol.

I'm always willing to help out, give me a call or leave a message at the shop Yuneiko. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have or just help out in any run you do.

Edit: Guess I forgot to ask as well, this offer only applies if you're on the PC/PS2 servers.

Which platform are you on?

Chances are, any advice I give will be disputed at one point or another, so I'll just say focus on the weapons you like. No one weapon class is inferior to another (people are going to tell me I'm wrong and that Swords are useless).

I'm on PC at the moment. Any advice would be welcome, even if a point in the right direction. Well, I have a question about missions. Offline, my force was able to take on missions about 12 levels higher than himself...is it possible for a CAST hunter to do the same online? What would be an acceptable level range for a CAST Hunter with average equipment?

Swords? Useless?? >_<! I can not play without one. I play with spears more often but I never leave the station without a good sword. I just with the first two PAs were a bit better...

Thanks for the offer Yuneiko! I will be sure to drop by and leave a message.

All I gotta say is DON'T BE A DICK AND PLAY THE WAY YOU WANT TO AS LONG AS IT'S NOT STUPID. Can't stress that enough,

Another handy thing to note is the Just Attack system. This is when you time your attacks, every succesful attack with be a critical.

Also get a shop if you havn't already, and prehaps do a couple of online story missions http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Best things to do;

1 - Talk to no one.

2 - Trust no strangers.

3 - Don't trade for ANYTHING. No exceptions.

Funny joke. Reeeaaaal funny. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

As you said, the main problem is just finding people to play with, and soloing is just plain boring. I presume you're hovering around Universe 2, looking for parties?

Were I you, I might actually go to Dagora City Moatoob and try to find a low-level Guardians Boost Road run to join in on. Also, you might ask higher-level players if they have any alts they'd be interested in leveling up - doesn't always work, but you never know.

You might also try Casino Voyoval - there are generally a lot of people hanging around there as well. If you don't have that lobby open, then ask if you can hitch a ride with some of the higher-levels hanging around the Dagora City lobby.

As far as deciding which way you want to go, you might study the advanced classes and decide which one you want to aim for. The Wartecher is supremely versatile with melee, ranged, and technics at the cost of some attack power; the figunner has access to powerful guns and double sabers; the acrofighter is the master of one-handed weapons and guns, particularly slicers; and fortefighters are raw-strength fighters at the expense of ranged ability.

Darnit, I am SO updating my Beginner's guide tomorrow. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif

The PC community is smaller than 360's, but we're generally nicer. There are always some dinks, but you can generally avoid them.

Thanks for all your help. I finally have some direction now! I was thinking about Protranser, poor stats, but they can use S ranks of my favorite weapon classes and traps....yeah, sounds awesome. Thanks for all the help and hit me up online if ya want to do anything.

easy things to do:
1. solo, let people come to you
2. once you get a good flow of money only synthesis your weapons
3. try to make yourself look badass

oh and most important of all, don't die
