Imagine you can have a weapon(s) from you pallet visibly show on your character while there not equipped.

For example, you could design a sheath for your Sabers or Twin Sabers to go on your back. Or have a Shotgun or Handguns hanging from your waste when not in use.

What would oyu think of the idea if it was implimented.

I would just like to actually walk around with the Madoog outside.
Come on!!!
They're so cute and harmless. <3

Depends on the amount you want to have and how tall/big you are. A Big guy could have about 6, but someone small can have 2 or three.

that would be pretty cool having 6 rods on my back =)

yes, being a midget with two svaltus swords on your back with obvious clippings sounds interesting

Heh, my twin sabers hanging from my hips on sheaths, with my Kan Yu in a more ornate sheath slung across my back. I like that idea. And it would help the fleshies look more "fight-ready", which is a problem I've had with fleshy clothing since day 1 (besides maybe Kab Gara).

That would be a pretty neat visual effect. It would be hard to do though, imagine carrying a full pallete of swords or something on your back.

Sounds cool. I'd load my PT up on Swords then not use any of them http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

You can have a limit to the weapons you carry due to the size aswell.

In order for that to NOT look retarded during battle, unsheath/sheathe animations would be required. That being said, it'd look a LOT better than simply having them disappear and reappear as they do now.

there should be a downside to having too many weapons.

maybe your character can be all winded when they stop running? or sweat drops flying off.

Anyone else remember some of the game's early concept artwork (http://www.pso-world.com/media/psuartwork/roughsketch1.jpg) that showed characters with weapons attached to their clothing? They really only showed a little belt attachment that held a few sabers (hilts showing only, as the photon blades are not active when not equipped), but I'd imagine there were other types for handguns and whatnot.

Still, I've very fond of the nanotransformer concept, and I'd rather stick with that than see everyone lugging weapons around for decoration. Even if our weapons just BAMF out of nowhere when we need them, at least it was explained (quite well by the game's story) how things just appear and disappear like they do.

I agree, we gunners need this kind of thing.....

I think it would work better if it was just the weapon or weapons you last had equipped. It seems more practical.

EDIT: I do agree with EspioKaos, he make a valid point about the nanotransformer

A better idea of this, would be walking with your currently equiped weapon on your back when not in a mission. Swords, Rods and big guns would go on your back while small guns, wands and swords would go in the side

I think it would make sense if whatever weapon you had currently equipped was shown in a sheath/holster when you switched to traps. Or if your left hand weapon was put in a holster while using your right hand weapon. Seeing your last equipped weapon on your character in a lobby would be cool too although it would just add one more thing to load in in crowded lobbies. It would also make sense for your character to put the weapon away if you don't attack after a certain amount of time.

It'd be nice if it was an option. Substitute it for a clothing accessory.

Just stop after 0:30.

Of course, if those two get updrades, sega will probably let hunters do this kind of stuff.

this is one of the things i have always dreamed of on this game. im not really sure why, its not huge deal, but it would be just soooo badass to see your axe strapped to your back while your cutting up enemies with some twin sabers (or any other possible combination) XD

The clipping. ;_;

At any rate I like the nanotransformers, finally an explanation as to why we can carry so damn much stuff with no sort of backpack or anything of the sort.
