I made my Blackbull the other day and was grinding it. I got it to 2/10 and was just wondering what is the SAFE grinding zone for them as i see alot of people with 4/4 and 3/3

Nothing is safe except the first grind with good luck and +9 or +10 grinder. I wanted my rattlesnake to outdamage phantom +10 when it's not used in set so I went for +3. Well, it's still possible but now my rattle is 1/3 and I dont't want it to end up 1/1.

Blackbull made it to 4/9 though but both 10* and 11* rifles can't outdamage nicely grinded phantom in set anyway.
Just be happy with the looks of them and don't think much about grinding, I say.

its possible, but still quite risky. my BB is only 2/10 as well and will not grind any further until i make my 2nd one.

i have a 5 / 10 and a 3 / 10, and i probably wont grind them further

if i got one i would grind it to 5 or 7 depending on how lucky i was feeling, i would consider it a major failure if with 3* luck and S10s i couldnt get it to 4/10. Id say go for it.

I'd be way too scared to grind my blackbull any further. mine is at 2/10 and i'm perfectly content with that.

4/10 is safe with 3* and s+10's unless your Really unlucky just link that bitch with your highest rifle shot and grind it

2/10 is pretty safe for the most part. 3/10 is pushing it. Grinding in this game is purely ridiculous. It's difficult to pass 3 or 4 grinds even with +10 grinders. If only they can make the grinding rates similar to A ranks...

My cubo tuma did the same.

My uransara broke 3-4 5 times in a row.

come to think of it, almost all my S ranks break repideatly from 3-4 >.<

My blackbull made it to 7/7, but honestly it's not worth it with the high prices of S+9s and S+10s. I'd keep it low, x/10 always looks nice

You can usually get +5 or +6. Then again I am pretty lucky with grinds. Some of my friends have never ground an S rank past 2 successfully. Personally have a 8/10 Gur Asted, and I used S+1s and a 4 for the first three steps. I say grind it to 6 at least, you can always get it back to +2 pretty easy.

my BB failed on it's 2nd grind and now I've got it at 4/9. The best part is, I've grinded 3 of my rattlesnakes to 3, 5, 7 without a failure. Safe to say that I'm not trying to grind them anymore.

Put it this way: I broke one of my psycho wands going from 2 to 3 with 3* luck and S+10. Then, when I was trying to break a 10% crimson with no luck and S+1s I got it up to 5/6 before it broke. Grinding is a gambling, good luck if you decide to go for it.

just do it/ dont be a sissy! anyways a +2/10 sucks compaired to a 5/5 in terms of ATP... so if your satisfied with a +2.... just do it and if it comes out 2/2.. then well there is no change to your ATP.

If anything, your chances would be worse.

But don't worry, it's got the same chance to succeed/fail a grind as the BB.

Thing is, if he ever wanted to trade it or sell it, a 5/5 would be worth a lot less than the 2/10.

Sadly, my +5 Blackbull still fails by about 60 damage per shot when paired up against my +7 Phantom with Phantom Line combo =

Tell me if im doing to much to grind my weapons but i never grind my weapons unless i have 2 of the same grinds not broken because if one goes to the next grind without breaking ill grind the 2nd one but if the first one breaks i will wait until i have another weapon with the same grinds before i grind again and i only use +10s and now i have so many weapons at 10/10 and then all my s ranks are at 6/10 or 7/10 and nothing is broken on my pallet because i will sell the broken ones to the npc or in my shop depending on how much money i can get........

I agree... Have a back-up weapon so you don't lose atk damages progress, but at the same time, most weapons get a boost at +6...That's generally my initial goal. 4/4 are just unlucky. Personally I despise this grinding system. I would rather have a PSO sytle of grinding, but just make the grinders more rare. di-grinder 10*....garuenteed +2 grinds

Agreed. Ahh, the good ol' PSO days *sigh*

Anywho, I just made a Blackbull and I'll probably only grind it twice, if at all. Personally, I find the higher the rare the more valuable it is to keep at x/10. Now, I just equip for style. When I want to do some real damage with a rifle I just whip out the ol' Phatom 10/10, equip my Phantom line, and I'm unstoppable.
