Any AoI mission with a boss in it should give you a decent amount. I got about one per run in Awoken Serpent, though I hear the Mother Brain mission has more.

They are pretty common on Mother Brain. I usually get 1 or 2 from the boss boxes.

it drops in boss boxes in White beast, and Awoken Serpent. usually one drops if you're lucky.

Most I've seen drop from Mama Brain was 3, at least 2 per run.

If I do recall, only specific boxes from the boss have a chance of dropping them. Usually these are the same boxes that drop the rares. IIRC Or perhaps its just my mind playing tricks on me~

I can confirm that theory. Boxes that drop note seeds can be replaced by rare items.

Also. certain boss boxes have chances of dropping a rare. For example, like these 2 boxes in GoF:

These 2 boxes are the ones too look for for Rikauteri, Rikau-senba, Needle cannon ect...
