Hey everyone. I got convinced to come back to the game by a friend of mine. I've been glancing over the forum in the last few days and see a bunch of new faces and a few old ones. I've been out since right before the level 50 cap was increased so a good amount of time. No question, just wanted to say hi to the community again!

Yeah, all the new items and features have gotten me re-excited about the game. Like ilovetypemoon said, I was one of the people who started on the first day the servers were up (PSOBB guy). Got my guys around lvl 50 and it wasn't looking like Sega was doing a lot for us back then. Also got distracted with life crap but whatev. I'm on PC and am getting AotI so I'll be hitting everyone up very soon.

Welcome back, though I guess this should go to multiple people I haven't seen in a while. Including the ol' lurkers who finally say stuff. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

For those who weren't lurking and are truly making a surprise comeback, just expect a bunch of WTF moments upon your return. After you're over that, then everything is pretty much as normal. Lots of changes, good and bad. Though most of the bad is due to certain bugs you'll learn about with time. You're coming in at a time when a few new adjustments are imminent.

Once you grow accustomed to the way things are, hopefully you'll see some stronger monsters with more HP; but for a while you'll definitely feel like a superhero in comparison to last time you were on.

Hi all,
shortly I shall aquire the means (money and spare time, basically) to start playing PSU again, if only for 2 hour bursts at night, and I'd like to know if it's worth coming back. I'll be on the PC server, by the way. I quit a few months after release as at the time, PSU just didn't hold my interest! However, AotI sounds super-awesome.

My priority would be having a good time rather than doing the same mission sixty million times in a row for mission points, and I'd be starting from scratch.

So... is it worth coming back? I appreciate any and all responses. Cheers.

(Also, are there many UK players about?)

starting from scratch will be rough at first. if you can work your way up to lvl 70+ and start to acquire some good weps and armor, they i think youll enjoy the game a ton!

Awesome! I was tempted to buy AotI today (it's a rare as pixie dust around my area) but thought I'd check it out first. I'll pick it up tomorrow and plough through the offline mode while I get my money stuff sorted.

So funny. Anyway, after noticing the class tweaks I had to rethink what I was going to go for. I'm changing my Human from Fighgunner to Protranser specializing in 2H Swords/Guns due to the S ranks being added there plus it makes him closer to what he was in PSOBB. My main cast will remain a Fortefighter and still mainly use Spears but occasionally Twin Sabers. My second cast will change from a Fortegunner to a Guntecher mostly for Crossbows/Uzi's and Madoogs. My fourth is most definitely going to Acrofighter specializing mostly in Slicers with Shadoogs.

P.S. Is anybody else as excited as I am about the PSOBB clothing coming up?

Mmm, I was surprised myself. They completely ignored it at launch but suddenly my local GAME had it today for some reason. Only shop I've been in to stock it, mind. They've got two copies for £20 each, brand new.

You can count on it! I made my return last night and got 3 char levels and 2 job levels lol. Should be on most of the night tonight also. Orin and I will probably be spamming either De Rol Le S or Whitebeast S. Gotta get more levels and PA Frags before the Max Attack event. ;P
