Okay, in your honest opinion, what is the single greatest weapon *Not weapon type* in the ENTIRE Phantasy Star Series?

I think this will be an interesting thread.

Believe it or not my favorite weapon is the Brionac from PSO. Loved how it opened and the blade activated when near an enemy and used, and it was nice and sleek looking to go with the Huney I had it on. I'm probably one of the few players out there who actually liked the speed of the Partisan weapon class in that game and preferred them to the Swords.

Elsydeon. Light elemental, so that it does extra damage against dark enemies (which made up the most dangerous enemies in the game), highest attack power of any weapon besides the Photon Eraser, and it has the ability to kill enemies in one hit. There's really no comparison.

Lots of weapons from PSO I loved but uhh, off the top of my head, the Yasminkov 7000V was pretty freaking badass. That was one of my single favorite weapons on my RAmar way back when.

Seeing a savage genetically engineered heavily armored warrior viciously slashing at a biogenetic weapon was cool enough, but having that same warrior kill the most dangerous enemies in the game with one attack was overload.

9000M's had lifedrain on DreamCast. They were RAcast only, had the exact same stats and range as the Yasminkov rifle, and the lifedrain they did was at the same maximum as single-hit firearms... a normal Gush special on multi-hit range weapons Vulcan/Arms/Diska would only drain 40hp per hit.

They're not as hard as some people think. They already nerfed the difficulty of leveling them when they got that speed boost.

This thing is what twin claws are supposed to look like. Long and powerful, but still thin enough to swing without getting in your way. I would say that it's up in my hunt list, but almost every fortefighter S rank is up there as well.

Personally, I like Rika's Claw and Last Survivor in PSO, and Gudda Igga and Shigga Desta from PSU.

Rika's and Last Survivor both look like they're made of junk parts. Igga and Desta both look absolutely brutal, in my opinion.

When it comes to my opinion in weapons, looks mean a lot. I prefer things that look rough and engineered on the spot and out of salvage.

My favorite looking weapon was the Flowen Sword, I used it even though it wasnt very good. But the best weapon based on damage would be the J-Swords with the broken seal. I think they were called Tsumeriki J-Swords.

demo comet!! best thing i ever found i was very happy until the next day when i lost it thnx to death then my game froze. i also liked the dragon slayer and every metal weapon
