What Phetty said. The event mission is simply called Maximum Attack G; this is the one with an S difficulty. The free mission version that will be released after the end of the event is called Maximum Attack G' (yeah, the apostrophe is intentional). This one only goes up to difficulty level A.

Maximum Attack G (http://psupedia.info/Maximum_Attack_G) - event mission
Program DF (http://psupedia.info/Program_DF) - event mission
Maximum Attack G' (http://psupedia.info/Maximum_Attack_G') - free mission released after the event
Program DF' (http://psupedia.info/Program_DF') - free mission released after the event

Remember way back when JPN pc/ps2 first got this I said we should get this event around the first Friday in April give or take a week.

yay thats what i think are the good S ranks....

4 and an A rank unit >.>

lol and the boss gives like 5 S ranks and an S rank SUV and a resist...

thats kinda sad for a mission with such high drop rates!

and before we even unlock the Ruins all we have is:

Delp Slami: (b) Ryusaikanoh
Shinowa Hidoki: (b) Shinowa Line

lol XD

EDIT: also does anyone know what the increased drop rate was during this event? or increased EXP rate? i could've sworn there was a bit of both but i cant find them! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Couldn't remember off the top of my head, but I just checked the official site and it says there was a 250% increase to EXP payout and drop rates in the event missions.

It means that 2.5 times the normal EXP was received from enemies defeated in the event missions, and item drop rates in the same missions were increased 2.5 times their normal rate.

We don't know yet. I'm sure we'll see the Spread Needle/G is some form from this event, but SonicTeam have not confirmed if there will be a leader board feature like with the Japanese version. Once MAG is announced officially, we should find out then.

Is there a single page on psupedia that has a comprehensive list of links to all missions past, present, and future ("future" meaning Japan-only so far)? This one (http://psupedia.info/Missions) is missing Max Attack G and G', The Collector, etc. I found the temporary "mission_list" page very useful, and I encourage you to keep and update it.

It'd also be nice if Sega organized this sort of info in-game by expanding Melton's shop.

Not yet. Once we can get around to the new design of our missions section, that will take care of it, though. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

For now, you can uses these categories to find all of our mission articles.

http://psupedia.info/Category:Co-op_missions

They should take away the clothes too then, and the missions C through A. It's not an annual event, and just having up to A makes those missions pretty pointless to do for no reason. But I'm willing to bet they'll release the S ones in a future update and call them new missions. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif

Practically speaking, Shinowa Line and Carriaguic with drop rate bonuses... that's pretty awesome. There's a HUGE difference between S-ranks that are "somewhere out there" and the ones that have been featured in events etc with drop rate boosts that someone who only puts in a couple hours a day can potentially pick up. Two in the hand is worth one in the bush, or something like that...

(says mister "I've gotten an 11* board on half of the True Darkness missions I've done so far")

A bit off topic, but, did the kill count in JP's MAG count the same as on C as S? In other words. Did you get more points for killing an enemy on S than C rank?

And, did you still get points if you just tagged it? Or did you have to get the killing blow?

I know there's a Rogue Ogg enemy. I think they're the handgun girls on train rescue? I've always been jealous of the INSANE DAMAGE THEY DO WITH A 3* HANDGUN.

hey... aren't the 3* handguns are B'duki Oga & Arb Oga? I wonder if Rabol Ogg is a high-end set armor for a C-rank weapon like Gigush Line and company. Tenora Works doesn't have any of those that I know of.

I just checked the Japanese wiki and it says that Rabol Ogg has the same stats as Rabol Hard (http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu/2/857/rabol_hard/). However, it has a head slot on top of the Hard's arm and body slots. Also, looks like Ogg is exclusive to Hunter-types.

I just completed a massive overhaul of the mission map to give it a much-needed cleaning since previous edits had destroyed cell alignment and spacing and also to add in upcoming missions and other missing info. The way that map is created is a massive test of patience, but it was actually pretty fun.

To help conserve space, I didn't include stuff like The Collector on the map, but I did include links at the top of the article that take you to individual articles on specific mission types (with lists) for things like exchange, event, story and recruitment missions.

Why should the majority of the PSU population have to suffer and not receive a Spread Needle just because they can't devote every single waking hour to playing the game. I 100% support the leaderboards feature, but that dosent mean they have to only give the Spread Needle to the top 'X' players.

Giving the Spread Needle to the "top" players just promotoes elitism.

I think it should be given to RANDOM players. ST just pulls random numbers out of a hat and shoves it in your common box.

That's worse than giving it to the top players on the leaderboards. If they did it that way, chances are some complete asshole that dosen't deserve it gets it. If an asshole gets it in the top of the leaderboards at least they earned it.

Either way, it should just be distributed to every player that participated imo, just like the Song FOR Death.

No.

Some people actually have fun obtaining rares that are actually rare. Even if they arent going to use it at all. Where is the fun in the game if everything is just given to you without any work at all?

People that have limited time to play PSU are usually the luckiest. Why not just trade for a spread needle. Does it really have to be given out?

amtalx
Mar 17, 2008, 09:01 AM
The Spread Needle/G isn't just a "decent" weapon, its exceptional. It seems like everyone wants to have their cake and eat it too. As with any game, don't expect to have the best items without putting forth some effort. If you don't have the time or desire to put towards that, it doesn't matter. 10-11* weapons are pretty cool too, but don't expect to get the best items in the game as a participation award.

Awesome! Thank you~ http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Hmm. I probably, at least, know some people with the time dedication to possibly land a Spread Needle. I just want to see one in action, in the party, especially after seeing them in PSO.

If it turns out that we do have a leader board, I'm taking off of work. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif If I still can't get one...would someone take my wife in trade?

Its probably more likely that it'll be given out in a different way, like Song for Death was.

Price check
What are/were the going rates on JP PC/PS2 for drops/rewards made common (?) by MAG?
* cati skill pp save
* polymers
* pso disks
* pushan
* rikauteri
* shinowa line
* tesbra

(I might miss the US/EU event and would like to know how much I should have saved in the bank for when I come back. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif )
