TECH weapon recharge rates

before the expansion, I was told the cometarac had the best self-recharge rate of the TECH weapons... but now with all the new weapons available, does anyone know if the cometerac still has the best rate?

Since you list tech weapons in general and not specifically wands, rods, or mags, i think the psycho wand has the most natural pp regen at 12 a tick.

They don't mention that the Gaozoran Rod only recharges 3. I guess I could add it, but I'm extremely lazy.

Anyway, the Psycho Wand is the best for recharge right now.

12pp per tick. Also, it's a little more than 1000 meseta to recharge a fully used Psycho Wand...I just use Photon Charges on mine most of the time.

pwand is very cheap if you use charges.

I always use Photon Charges. That doesn't mean it's the cheapest. Say if you only use half the rod and the recharge cost when you hit the cube is 489, do you recharge or do you skip the cube and keep using it until you are empty then use a photon charge?

Most people from my experience recharge at the cube no matter how much PP they have left in the weapon UNLESS the recharge cost is above 500 meseta for the weapon (of course if you are like me, photon charges go for 100~200 meseta in player shops. Might as well stock up cheap). If you are recharging each time at the cube, then the cost is still adding up and will still be more expensive than recharging a Howrod each time you hit the cube at half PP under 500 meseta.

Speaking of Howrod, heck a 4 ground Granarodoc costs more than 500 to recharge when drained. Same with a 2 ground Halarod. With Rods, after 7* (properly ground) you should be using photon charges. Actually, I haven't checked the price on my Mayrod in a while. I should pull that one out, dust it off and drain it to check how much it costs.

My point is, unless you are completely draining all of your weapons and then recharging with a Photon Charge or a Cosmo (at which point it is a set cost), the price of the recharge should be factored into your decision.
