Round 2

If you want absurd distance in co-op homerun, just go in with dual Fox. Two blasters racks up the damage so fast... I think I had it up to 100-110 BEFORE hitting it with the bat.

the reach and swing time of the new bat is pretty horrible

They better have not fuxxord my bat. That was my favorite weapon.
That feel of winding up and sending people into the atmosphere...ooohh....they're grrreat!

There are better ways to do that. I recall being able to do that alone with some characters on melee.

Yes, you could do that with Yoshi's running attack in the air (A+Down). Could rack up 150% including bat swing.

You know, I never really tried, considering if someone is going to one hit KO, they're gonna have to work for it. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Hey, Nitro:

In Brawl, the bat still kills things in one hit most of the time, but it takes a few seconds to wind up a swing. Also, if you're hit, you stop winding up. So you have to really set it up correctly to be able to swing for the fences.

TalHex
Mar 15, 2008, 01:50 PM
the sheild actually blocks it in brawl... i don't even bother with the bat except to chuck it... almost more devastating that way... the sabers how ever have improved, you can chuck them and if they hit some one it'll send them flying and the saber will bounce back to you so you can catch it, you can actually develop a pretty unique fighting style by slashing with the saber, chucking and catching which is pretty devastating, tact saw me using it during co-op multiman

Except you can't use Beam Swords to reflect projectiles. Maybe have Franklin Badges and Beam Swords set to High so you can deflect things.

Nitro Vordex
Mar 15, 2008, 01:57 PM
Just use Fox or Falco, I dunno bout Wolf, does he have a reflector?

Tact
Mar 15, 2008, 01:58 PM
I believe he does, but I'm not sure if his red reflector functions in exactly the same way as Fox's and Falco's.

I'm gonna ask if my friend got it, and see if I can bug him for a while. So I can get an idea of the game.

It's hilarious. Also great when someone's trying to recover, and you hurl a baseball bat at them. *Watches plummet to doom*

Me and Van played a bit yesterday, I think the score was 3-2 in van's favor.

Also, I rarely use beam sabers, I usually just throw them, they've always done good damage and knockback that way.

As seen in Multi-Man Brawl. Which I happen to like a lot more than regular Brawl, because you fight in a team. Of course, you can set Team Brawls on Wi-Fi...

Sure, about to play with my friend from school at his house in a bit though .-.

@Talon: So my sister picked Metaknight's pink and yellow looking outfit and I had Wario's orignal overalls outfit. Sadly to me they both looked the same on the screen so I jumped off the stage looking at her character falling into the lava.

Then when the little shelter comes up to protect you from the lava wave Ronin beat the crap out of me when I was in there since I didn't know you could fight in that thing.(Sadly that was my first time doing that stage after having the game for a week XD). Though I came back a little bit but I still lost bad. Also Ronin is pretty deadly with Sonic .-.

Why wouldn't you be able to fight in it?

And it's fun being the only person in there while the lava burns the rest of them.

As an added bonus, if you have any charging moves, its a free charge if you're alone in there...

I don't play as anyone with charge attacks. Unless you count Mario, but the FLUDD is pretty much useless...

TalHex
Mar 17, 2008, 12:22 PM
ike's charged attack is pretty nice if you can hit somebody with it, lucario's is good too if you have a lot of damage
