I was just wondering. But is it just me or do Oran ID's get screwed? I have yet to find a rare beyond the normal crap you get from ruins. (IE DB's Saber, Meteor smash, Varista, etc.) Maybe I'm just super super unlucky and the pot of gold is about to fall in my lap. Or my ID just doesn't get crap. Its all really dependant upon the class you are playing there buddy. Those Varisitas and Meteor Smashes are great for a Ranger.. Specially if their ATA is high.

If you a hunter- the guys that get the big stink are PINKALL ids..Its allright though if you play around Puck 9.. Cause Most of the PSOworld crowd are safe to trade with.

So- Just learn to live.. I'm sure ORAN gets a better rep than the pinker stink.. (pardon the..)

ok, if you're wanting the really rare items you aren't going to find them in boxes or off the normal creatures in pso. Look for those rare Al Rappies, Hildeblues, Dubwitches, Nar Lillies, and Poully Slimes. These discolored cousins drop the really rare stuff but sometimes drop some lousy meseta. Which certainly does suck.

I am an Oran Lv 41, and actually got a Double Saber in ruins 3 on NORMAL! I couldn't quite believe it myself. The only other rare I have even found has been a Dragon Slayer online/hard. Although, as I understand it, Parasite Wear is kinda tough to find and I have a couple of those as well. Here's the breakdown of the circumstances that got me the items.

Dragon Slayer: Online/Hard. Dropped by Dragon. Don't know ID of person that started the game.

Double Saber: Offline/Normal/Ruins 3. Dropped by the centaur guy.

Parasite Wear: Online/Hard Dropped by Caveworm Boss. (Is was sitting in one of the corners of the raft, outside of where all the boxes show up.) I think I started this game.

I can't remember where the first Parasite Wear came from, but the second was the worm. I am still stunned about the Double Saber showing up. I fully expected it to be a DB's when taken to the Tekker. Not complaining though.

I am a level 97 Humar. ORAN id and I get crap. The only thing even considerably rare was a Dragonslayer and a Parasite Wear that I got for killing 1 and 2 boss. I played straight for 3 hours on very hard offline from forest 1 to killing dark falz. And thats the only "rare stuff I got. sucks to be ORAN huh? and this is like the 4th time that this has happened. OUCH gimme that Skyly ID.

I am a level 31 RAmar and I have a Pinkal ID. It HAS to be the worst one too. I have only found 1 Special Weapon (Dragon Slayer). That was dropped by the Dragon on hard mode(online).

I just made a HUnewearl because I hate my RAmar. Her name is Uriana and has a Yellowboze ID. Can anyone tell me if Yellowboze is an OK section ID? Pinkal sucks http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_frown.gif

Everyone thinks rare items are way to hard to get, so they blame there ID. It's annoying when you get the same crap, but don't worry about it.

Just to say a "me too", I'm a Greennill and the only rare items i've ever found are the Photon Claw and the Proto Regene Gear, the claw offline and the gear online. And I only found the claw after 110 hrs. Everything else is Varistas, DB's Saber and Blade Dances. I've played hours and hours and even unlocked Very Hard mode offline to see if I could find a Mag cell... nada.

People find Chain Sawds and other cool stuff, while I, for now, keep getting the shaft.

IMHO, Oran is not THAT bad. I have a lvl 79 HUmar and I have found 4 dblsabers, sbeats, delsaber's right arm, 4 cross scars, Bloody art, brionac, gae bolg, Light resist, proto regene gear, custom barrier, dragon slayer, crush bullet, meteor smash, paresite wear, 4 slicer of assassin, and fire scepter agni, 3 visks, 3 photon claws, 2 brave knuckles, and 1 H&S25 Justice. My luck is at 53. The higher your luck is, the better item's you'll find^_^

Both of my characters are ORAN. and they tend to find mostly semi-rare items like varistas, DB saber, fire scepter:Agnis, Dragon Slayer, and Parasite Wear: De rol le. Although the night before, my RAcaseal found a proto regen thingy that was 11 stars. But frankly the semi-rares are still pretty good items to find, and I try not too get too attached to my items since BSOD might snatch them away any day without warning. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_biggrin.gif

Luck has nothing to do with it. I have 100 luck and I'm finding the same (if not WORSE) stuff as I did when I was level 60 with 52 luck.

The 1 time I saw a rare creature was on forest. I was blaizing as fast as I could to get to the dragon. I went straight there, ignored the boxed, didn't pick up items, and skipped the monsters when possible. Finally the very VERY last rappy on Forest 2 was blue.. He gave me a flowens shield!
