Well, if you wanna collect data & show us, then feel free to do so. It's good to know more.

It is random in a sense that it is within a domain value.

Well considering you would have so much data to test...

Mission, difficulty, mob size/type, meseta rate per added member (which would then have to be applied to all aforementioned variables)...

That's more figures and work than really needed for some info that won't exactly benefit much. You don't need to know average meseta drops to know where you can make some good meseta. If you run a mission long enough you easily find out where meseta drops aplenty. Just spam some S2/AoI missions and make money that way. Or sell rarz.

When an enemy drops meseta, the amount that drops follows a Normal distribution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal_distribution). Different enemies have Normal distribution (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal_distribution)s with differing parameters (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parameter#Parameters_in_various_contexts_in_math_a nd_science). In case you don't know, the parameter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parameter#Parameters_in_various_contexts_in_math_a nd_science)s for a normally distributed random variable are the mean (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mean) and variance (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Variance). If you want to collect data and estimate the paramaters for these distributions you can learn more here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estimation_theory)

BTW the point of this guide is showing which missions to do for more money.

We a mission with lots of high level large/medium creatures and a good award like Seed Awakended / Electric Brain would be the missions with the most money, but the amount of time spent to get that money should count for something. When you can run through Desert Terror or White Beast in 15~20 minutes and get a bit less money, but be able to do more runs, they should win out in the end.

To be honest though, Bruce S is paying out really well so far on the 360. I make about 800k in around 6 hours of playtime plus Catilium. If I sold the catilium and/or get the 12* knuckles and sell those that money more than triples, so drops should count for something as well.
