Well, I'm about to close in on my 200th dead Jaggo this weekend and have gone all the way up to 129 from 120 just from hunting. So far, 2 Van Brellas and ~100 WD Lovers. How is everyone else fairing?

I actually abandoned Bruce's Dungeon S after a day or so to exclusively hunt this thing and so far I have come up with about 20+ Jaggo Delmas, around 100 WD Lovers, and 1 Van Brella. I will continue my hunt this evening and pull an all nighter. Good luck everyone.

I have smoked 30 jaos but it has only dropped shit so far.
Hopefully it will drop Love Inferno sometime soon.
The droprate is a little to low IMO.

I'm quite enjoying the rarity too. It sucks for people that don't have time to play, but expecting a 12* weapon after 30 Jaggos is a bit greedy. After weeks of complaining that there is nothign to do, I have something to do now. I'm hoping to get to 300+ before I totally burn out and give up, haha.

9 at Duel In the Ruins

3 at Awoken Serpent.

18+27=45 jaggos and to me this is not nearly enough jaggos i msut fight to get one. If i get one and fihgt less than 100 jaggos i will be surprised

It's not about hard. It's about the amount of time spent. 10 minutes in Caves of Ice S2, 2 blocks and no boss vs 20 minutes in Awoken Serpent with boss.

You would think that the chance of 6 jaggo vs. 2 would make a difference for me, but considering I can confirm a rare map in 5 minutes in Caves of ice vs 15 minutes to confirm a rare map on Serpent means I can cram more map searches in meaning I get more chances at jaggo.

Since I'm not looking for any of the boss drops on Serpent or White Beast at this time, that also helps with my decision.

I failed it 2 times, but success on the 3rd try and made it 36% dark!

If it was a permanent drop I wouldn't complain, but to make the Love Inferno this rare when it's only available 2 weeks out of the entire year? What's the point of releasing it when maybe only 10 people out of the entire population will even acquire one?

Of course, I've had this same complaint with all the other one time only seasonal event items but this one is the worst to find. It'd be so much better if Sega implemented seasonal quests that you could complete for the weapons rather than rely on luck for these damn things.

Actually, I agree with you, this thing is too rare to be a 2 week drop, while I agree that not everyone should have one, it's a rare drop on a rare monster, it should be a bit more common, and not one out of every 9000 jaggos will have one. I mean, this would be fine if there was more time to find it, but 2 weeks?!, that's not a lot of time for the casual players (read, those you have a life)

I agree, I hate how ST makes FG's(and now transers) work like dogs to get thier weps, while fighters get the easy button. On the 2nd day of bruce S, the iggacs were going for 4.8 mil as the cheapest. When HSM S and Her Hero is a thief comes out, fighter classes will have another set of easy to get kubara weps, while gunners will probably half to wait several months to get an even decent shot at another 12* and an entire year for a chance at a love inferno. This WD event is BS if u ask me >.>

It's 91% I believe. If I got a board I was going to wait until the end of MAG to make it, when it will be 100% after the bonus. Sure, waiting a couple months sucks, but that 9% is worth it to me. But since there is no chance in hell of me getting a board, I don't really have to worry about it.

I don't know why ppl want this weapon so much for either. I've got burning, frozen, plasma, and grav prism at level 16-17, mayalee and rising at 14, and dark at lv. 35. I have been working on these bullets for the last three months in between the winter event and new missions. It sucks that undeserving ppl w/ crappy or no laser bullets r gonna b able 2 snag this rare wep during a 2 week event.

Adahna alway drop his kubara cannon in any ranks ,but he never drop any kind of GRM cannon before... then, at S2, it drop 11* cannon out of nowhere!!

I don't have too much objection to the rarity of the Love Inferno, although the accursed Japanese get their holiday monsters during events that boast boosted drop rates and rare monster appearances....If we had Caves of Illusion or something like that, I'm sure Love Inferno boards would be 10K by now.

I am not pleased that these holiday critters drop Delmas. That's my one major irritation with the critters. A minor appearance boost rate would be nice too.

By the time I stopped hunting, I broke 250. I didn't get my first Van Brella until about ~100. I'm keeping at it cause a friend wants one too though...at this point White Beast makes me cry tears of blood.

Its deplorable what happened to the PC/PS2 servers. I think they should give you an extension that lasts at least a full weekend for people that don't have time to hunt during the week.

I agree. Having two weekends basically wiped from the PC/PS2 servers really hurt. If we don't receive an extension, I'll partially blame Sega for screwing me out of a potential Love Inferno drop.

We need to start a fund for people that have busted their asses and gotten nothing, haha. It's pretty lame that some people have gotten 2+ boards and sold them for outrageous prices, while others who have slaved over spawn charts for weeks have gotten nothing. Those are also the people that would actually make and use it to increase the whoopass quotient of PSU as a whole.

Yesterday it took me 8 hours between white beast and Awoken serpent to finally get a correct spawn. Only 5 encounters and 12 WD lovers 2 Delma.

Today after work will be the final push. I'll tell my friends that I will be holed up in a tight ball of depression until the servers go down. Caves of Ice is my beast bet now. I don't want to waste another 8 hours looking for the correct spawn.

Honestly, I don't have a problem with the drop rate. Generous drop rates have made us greedy. What I do have a problem with is that the ONLY 12* Gun available drops for 2 weeks out of the year. Not only were rangers the last to get a 12* (suprise suprise) but we get to be the cup from 2 girls 1cup as far as availability while hunters and techers can hunt year round at their leisure. Add to that, ST screwed PC/PS2 with a splintered broom handle and has no real plan to make up for it. 3* luck will NOT fix that.

I highly doubt the Love Inferno is just a seasonal drop.
It IS the official branded 12* Laser Cannon. I just think now is a time to get it ahead of time.

Twin bear claws dropped like candy 1/20, of course its a melee weapon and not ranged weapon. Its stupid not being able to get a season rare drop out of 200 rare monsters plus pc/ps2 got gyped out of 5 days.

I said this exact same thing before I had one too. =/ Even when I was 200+ deep and had nothing to show for it.

High drop rates don't bother me if a weapon is 12*+ because its supposed to be rare. The thing that bothers me is the time that it was available. I got lucky; I know that. I just feel for all the people that didn't because they worked just as hard, or harder than me and have nothing.

I do kind of agree that only the duration of availability could be an issue, but then again, I guess they really only wanted but a certain amount of those distributed regardless of how long players hunted for the stuff. I consider myself very very lucky to have a Van Brella out of this. I should probably quickly create Stints, and get him to use it before some event comes later, that makes it common.

I really couldnt care less about the drop rate because if they were around forever, I'd eventually find one. But what makes me mad is that the only 12* cannon I can get will be gone tomorow and I won't be able to get it until next year.

No. Everything in this game is easy to get. When i se people running around with 8 Agito repcas and 8 Psycho wands, taht tells me they are not rare.

When i can get 2 twin tornados and a double agito in 4 runs, that tells me 11*s are not rare.

If 2 hours of TD can give me 2 blackhearts, 2 tesbras,a cubo tuma, and a ank zagza that tells me that 11*'s are not rare.

Me getting 2 11* bows in 3 runs says the same.

The only 2 RARE weapons i've seen before have been this Love Inferno and the 10* nudaiz laser/

I've never had that level of luck you had, in this game. I can't get any of those within the times that you speak. I have exactly 1 Twin Tornados after quite a few days of hunts. I did manage to get a Zagza, though. No Psycho Wands. And I've never landed one S rank Bow drop nor could afford to buy an actual one of those outside of a Love Bow. If they are all obtainable in just mere hours, please point me in that direction where I can see such amazing results.

I think Kazarods are rare, but that might be because Onma's mission is annoyingly long and full of Tengohgs, which are hate.

No. Everything in this game is easy to get. When i se people running around with 8 Agito repcas and 8 Psycho wands, taht tells me they are not rare.

When i can get 2 twin tornados and a double agito in 4 runs, that tells me 11*s are not rare.

If 2 hours of TD can give me 2 blackhearts, 2 tesbras,a cubo tuma, and a ank zagza that tells me that 11*'s are not rare.

Then i went to help a friend find the 11* bow one day and got 2 in 3 runs, and we all decided my luck had changed.... and i guess it did XD lol

yea, i know i've had my luck change a lot, and yes there are a few people in this game who still have terrible luck, one of my close friends from this game cant find anything, and right when i told him the next techer weapons i find he can have, i stopped finding them X.x

In my opinion, the love inferno should of been made a permenant drop, not some two weeks out of the year drop. This is honestly the hardest weapon drop in the game. Period. I honestly can say that this event shows how racist ST are to fortegunners. >.>

I know your pain. I actually passed on doing Bruce S missions just to hunt the Love Inferno continuously (sp). I found a ton of jaggos since the lobby started, but my findings are a mega ton of WD Lovers, some jaggo delmas, and a single Van Brella. Problem is I am a female cast so the Van Brella wasn't the best find for me and I already have a Madam Brella. Tonight is my last chance for a Love Inferno and I feel like I will be doing it to complete the hunt as my hopes of getting this weapon have truly faded. Hopefully hunting the Halp Serafi will yield better results. That shouldn't be too hard.

Yeah, you guys have a point there, but just look at it this way. Thier are two sides in ST's eyes: those that are fortegunners and those that are not. Fortegunners have been given the shaft since expansion. I'm not looking for free handouts, but if FT's and FF's have thier own 12* to hunt year round, then gunners deserve thier own year round drop as well. I'm just lookin' for some fairness in between the 3 forte classes, that's all. The GoF boss Adahna, I believe, will drop the love inferno at 150+, seeing as the needle drops from 100-149+ Adahna's.

I can't really say Gunners got the shaft. The Slowdown bug gave them a bit of a the shaft. If it wasn't for the slowdown bug, you'd see a lot more of certain nice guns out there, and gunners hunting those levels for them.

Oh, and I agree gunners need a permanent 12* cannon to pine for. Love Inferno, which is a seasonal event item, being the ONLY 12* cannon is pretty...well, dumb. Needle Cannon will be nice but I'd like to have something else too. Variety is good ST, learn to use it more often. lulz

No really, I found 14 or so Jaggos unintentionally and it hasn't dropped...and I know people found many more than I have and haven't had it drop. For an item that's only available for a week, that's pathetic on many levels.

Jaggos did not like me period. I only got three spawns in about 10 hours of play time of using the rare maps. I don't know about anyone else but it has always been really difficult for me to get Jaggo spawns. Love Inferno was just out of the question...I did get one Van Brella, so not a total loss.

My only wish is that they would make Love Inferno available from other creatures with immensly higher drop rates (by that i mean that i wish they were harder to get from other things). We all know sega loves fucking over the gunner class so why does this suprise anyone? Let's add this to the list of gunners being fucked over:

-System slowdown on GoF and DG
-The only 12* drop is a fucking holiday drop
-Bullet leveling is a pain in the ass

Bullet levelling is getting buffed soon. I do hope they'll finally get around to fixing the slowdown issues. The Train Rescue mission is also one of the bugged ones.

I'm also sure this 12* drop being only the holiday drop is not going to remain for too long. I'd really rather see the slowdown fixes, though. That's one thing that's keeping certain guns out of a lot of peoples' hands. Whatever it is, since they've known about the issue since last November, it must be a harder fix than anyone could guess.

I came up empty. The lack of being able to find any guns I set out to find is the reason why my only gunner character seems to be neglected. I probably won't start using her until the pa leveling for bullets is boosted. Hopefully that comes soon.
