Okay, so I recently came back to PSU after a 3 month hiatus. Can someone tell me what's the point of the EX PM devices? Their descriptions in-game don't say much except mention the battle stat requirement. Can I use the EX devices on any PM or can I only use the EX Device Gh410 on the standard Gh410, for example? And umm, what difference will it make?

Thanks in advance, guys.

EX devices 410-454 are all copies of the PM devices however if your PM came out as a 440 lets say, at battle experience level 10, you can change it to a 410-414, at 15 420-424, and so on, 461 and 465 i dont know anything about them, 470 is a really ugly "boy" paedo lover who uses loveheart line and other seasonal/kubara rares such as rabbit staff, shes/hes available at lvl 10, 480 is a butler i duno what he uses, lvl 30 is required...

So let's say I change a 410 to a 432. Is it automatically now better for making ranged weapons or does that not matter at all because my 410's stats are striking - 100?

My understanding is that by using the Ex device it'll change the PM to another type and say its better at making another type of weapon in the PM's description even though its stats will say otherwise. Will the stats stay the same as it was when the PM was a 410? That's what I'm getting at.

Using an EX device has no effect on synthing, so a pure Striking will always be a pure striking no matter what model it is.

Awesome. That's the answer I was looking for. So basically the EX devices are for getting that completely different PM you've always wanted with the better weapon load out then.

Any recommendations for a Fortefighter? I actually never changed the PM for one of my characters and its a terrible 410. lol

423 looks good but 422 is much more agressive and works well with tonnio, and does more damage where 423 tends to stand in from of things pretending to do things, 413 is great too and she says some odd stuff too, she attack from behind most of the time and rarely dies if you level her up, 414 doesnt resta everyone uses her and shes rubbishy and does less damage even with tornado dance than many other ones... thats my only experience with PMs

What do you mean by level 30? Is a EX 450 pm better than a orginal 450 pm.

In summary, the EX devices are confusing and it doesn't look like Sonic Team really thought it through. They should have written better descriptions for the devices or found a way to teach the player about them.

Get yourself a GH 422 model ASAP, that or the GH 452 to keep you healed/buffed. The 422 is aggressive as hell and will heal itself and you fairly often

And if you need any help later on just message me, I don't mind venturing away from my standard guys/gals to play with other people.
