Yes and at 125 the difference between male and female TP is only about 50, so it really not that MUCH MORE DAMAGE, LIKE 15 ON GI-SPELLS AND MAYBE 50-70 FOR DIGA/FOIE

Good point there are alot of female newmans... I've only been in a few parts with Male newmans... But i never knew the bonus the 2 types gets i just thought females were more resistent againts spells and males were just better defence with meele

Males of every race have higher HP, ATP and ATA.

Females have higher DFP, TP, EVP and MST. And STA, I think.

But, the differences aren't very big. If anything, my male newman was nicer because he could equip higher-rank Longbows and Cards slightly faster.

Also, my newman is plenty sexy. Must get more recent picture of him for sig.

Actually, it's a pointless thread, because it depends on the person what you want to have. Most people here already know that female/males are a slightly different but it doesn't make much difference anyways. Just choose the one you like better.

Yup. If you're going with techer, female. Anything else, male. But that's just to be the absolute "best." Personally, gender doesn't play a significant enough role in stats to influence my decisions.

To be completely honest, being the statistically "best" on paper is pretty moot in this game. Creatures die in like 3 seconds anyway so pick whatever you want to represent yourself online for the next umpteen months. Whatever your comfortable with, has the coolest clothes, looks the coolest to you etc.

Yeah, there really isn't a difference that's worth a visual preference. Pick whichever one looks better, the difference really isn't big enough to notice. The randomizer will make more of a difference than your stats.

to reginaldo... i understand your reluctance to admit... however, given a beast fortefighters poor accuracy, it is really not hard to ahcieve with the proper equipment... newmans have more accuracy, but naturally dont hit as hard... so with a little adjustment, it is by far not impossible... i have even witnessed this on a number of occasions...

I have a male newman PT and he does just fine. Yeah, sure, all things equal, the Beast will always beat a Newman in anything that isn't Force, but the Newman isn't hopeless. I also have a female newman WT and she does fine in melee too.

It doesn't matter, the difference as a techer is pretty minor. As for being other classes, I don't know. I wouldn't waste my time lv'ing non-techer classes for them, since it's pretty worthless. I could do fortegunner easily being a newman, it's just I don't feel like it, my human already does that role.

Male newman's aren't that rare, but we definitely outnumber them. Male newman's aren't that rare, but we definitely outnumber them.
On JP I believe the demographics show/ed something like a 9:1 outnumbering.

The numbers were something like ~24% female newman, humans beasts and casts all between 10% and 13%, and like 2.5% male newman.

Which is actually pretty funny! But it kinda highlights that one of the eight is woefully underplayed, possibly indicating that their setup as-is doesn't cut it.

I see whats going on here...theory's, myths and legends huh that sounds too complicated we need simple terms.
