Both are good, but the cast somewhat looks way cooler for me. :3
(He also reminds me of Enel from One Piece. maybe you know that guy by chance.)

The cast himself looks cooler than the human. Theres more of the cast more angular lines and more details. The facial expression on the cast himself gives him a "human-like" aura. But his right hand is Open and not holding the double agito. It would fall out of his hand that way. Unless he was summoning it - then youd need the sparkle effect. Just close his fingers around the staff and it would be perfect.

I do like the human tho - he's cool holding a deva zashi and a halp serafi XD If only that could be done in the game. But the "eyepatch" on the right eye and the unemotional face make the cast all the better. The texture shadowing of the in-seam of his pants is good though.

Both look cool, but i had to vote for the human ; i always have been a hater of those male CASTs wanting to look like fleshies.

I like the cast pic because his pose seems to demand more attention from the viewer compaired to the human who is facing down looking upset about something.
Just my opinion, but love them both. Good sketchin'!
