Intresting facts about FKL

Today in Earth Science we talked about landfills. Fresh Kills Landfill in Staten Island, NY is the largest man-made landfill and can be seen from space. So if you see a bunch of garbage prutruding out of the Earth's surface that's it!

Also it is soon to be closed down and become rebuilt as a park.

So, we're expected to go have a picnic in a landfill? More evidence the government is even more out of touch with reality than we are.
