SonicTeam have started creating wallpaper calendars for your computer. Starting with April 2008, this will be an ongoing project. Expect new calendars at the beginning of each month.

I wish our ST over here was as dedicated to the game as the ST in japan or where ever they're located. its like we have two different companies running the same game sometimes.

With the "new leaf" our division currently is attempting to turn over, it wouldn't surprise me if they started to do stuff like this down the road. I'd definitely welcome it with open arms.

Lets all just hope its not too late to try again i'd hate to see this game die out entirely. And what of this 'new leaf' you speak of? Did ST make an announcement somewhere?

Finally I can have new wallpaper for my desktop. It even doubles as a nifty calander! I wonder why they didn't do this until now.

At the official board, Chillaura (one of the game masters) has been discussing what SEGA's trying to do to patch things up on our servers to show that SEGA does care about the community and the state of the game. Some of these posts include opportunities for the community to let SonicTeam know what keeps them playing PSU, why they don't play anymore and what they'd like to see down the road in the way of community interaction. Chill said that in the coming months, we should begin to see the results of the feedback they've received.

^ The calendar for May is up. It features a Rappy Gugg chasing two characters dressed in Rappy Suits through Habirao.

Hopefully the the "new leaf" isn't fighting aganist the "too little to late" road block. Though really at this point any improvements they offer in game or out will be appricated.

Several contributers to the US message board were also recently given moderator status, which they also stated, possible GM rights in the future.

I guess whatever happens, at least they are trying to promote people from within, which is really good in any business. Hopefully the picked the right people for the job http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Been there, done that. No thanks.

I'm glad to see ST trying to recruit/hire more staff. Did they make an announcement as to who was recruited?

Oh, and I too, like the artwork of the calendar. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Yes, they did announce. It was like 5 xbox players and 2 pc/ps2 players.
Sorry can't post direct link atm, leaving work right now lol. But you can find it in their general discussion forum. Should be one of the stickies towards the top.

Cool new mods. I think I saw Silver19 not too long ago over on the 360 servers.
