No you actually just drop your currently equiped weapons and all your meseta, the only way you can get it back is if you dupe the weps and meseta using the storage counter or shop counter glitch.

actually I've heard the og dreamcast method works best. all you need to do is pull the power cord on your pc, ps2 or 360 while your friend waits in game, and you should be able to get your equipment back.

now that I think about it, 360 users are supposed to kick their console a couple times until it boots up with a red light. then your items have successfully duped.
